The 2019 Tesla 3 I own has slow/late navigation announcements. I wonder whether there are settings to cure this. The second or last announcement usually happens just after I have to turn, exit etc.
None of my other cars I won or owned were that late. Even older Nav's seem to have this tuned to...
I bought a while back the BASENOR on Amazon. They seem to be great from a functional perspective. But I never installed them. I felt they look to utility given the size and plastic.
Are there alternatives? e.g. smaller ones that don't extend onto the fenders. Something like this...
I installed a stealth hitch on my 2019 Tesla 3.
Doing the work I came across an unexpected plug (not found in instruction videos).
Does anyone what this plug is for? Actual electrical for a trailer?
I would like to add a trailer hitch to my 2019 Tesla 3 LR.
I understand there are options to make it look OEM. I believe I have that removable cover underneath the bumper.
What is the preferred hitch?
And also, where to go to get it installed? removing bumper etc? Does Tesla do this? Not sure...
I like some added safety as our Tesla is int he garage underneath bedroom.
So, I would like to install a "rising heat detector". Not a fire/smoke detector.
What are people using?
Hi,
I finally decided to tint my Tesla 3. It is dark grey with white interior.
I am thinking to do side windows 35%. However, Not sure what to do with rear as it has already gradual tint. Trying to get some input from other owners who have gone through that process.
I am interested in installing a trailer hitch on my Tesla 3. I took delivery in August 19. It appears that it has already a hitch cover underneath bumper? In this case I could skip cutting a hole?
I will try to take better picture...
For obvious reasons I am looking for garage door opener solutions for my Tesla 3.
I guess I have the following basic options:
1.) get the Tesla $300 retrofit
2.) Use my opener remote
3.) Use a bluetooth based solution
4.) Use a Wifi solution
At first I thought I like the idea of using the phone...
I like to charge the car after midnight when at home. But any time when not at home. I know I can schedule when the car charges. However, this also means that car will not charge during the day at work or similar?
Just completed my install on the wall charger with 3/4 EMT conduit, 6AWG hots and 8AWG ground.
Interesting to observe that conduit actually gets warm. 60A circuit breaker even slightly hot when touched on front. Assuming this is expected?
I am in the process of installing my wall charger. I am using the bracket for top feed with conduit. I am running 3/4" conduit. The top knockout is meant for 1" conduit. Typically, I woudl be using a reducing washer. Just wondering what others are using given the plastic shell.
I am getting a grey Tesla 3. Typically, I got simple matte black frames. I might consider on the grey a chrome frame.
Also, are there 4 or 2 holes?
Any recommendation are welcome.
P.S. assuming there will be no plate holder in the front. Or do I have to specify not to?
Just wondering if people generally get a disconnect for a wall charger.
Code probably varies across US. In case anyone has experience in NW suburbs of Chicago I...
I need a trailer hitch for a bike rack. I know there are some decent (stealth) aftermarket options.
However, it woudl be nice not to deal with installation (bumper removal). Also, I woudl prefer the factory finish for the bumper hole that needs to be cut.
I understand in UK this is now a...
I decided that I woudl like to try a Tesla 3. I prefer buying a used one.
I know that Tesla know sells used cars. However, not much inventory.
Also, checked out the usual car web sites. I am no stranger to buying and selling cars though such portals. However, I was surprised to see the used car...
