When I had my Audi S4 their premium connectivity was something ridiculous like $400/yr on top of paying for Sirius which is about what Tesla is charging a month for a better service... it’s a bargain for what you get IMO. I always new I was only getting a 1yr free trial though.

People should have the option of turning those things in if it can prove they are lower risk and should pay less. It would be different if they required that info or if SF required the monitoring. It’s an option to lower your rate if you choose. Or you can take the average like everyone else.

I have it.. think I’m save some but not nearly as much as I was on my Audi. They don’t like rapid acceleration... and that hurts my grade a lot!

I will also add that I too have HW3 and I use my auto pilot almost everyday on my way to and from work. My commute is about 10miles each way and it’s a two lane somewhat curvy but well marked road. Auto pilot handles it very well except for a couple tight corners.

I mean my insurance would cover me if I let someone else borrow my car and they crashed it without me being there.. I would think this would be a similar situation.

I charge to 80% because at 90% it seems like the regen breaking is limited for about half my drive to work. At 80% I get full regen by the end of my street. Is this a bad idea? Just seemed like it would be more efficient if I used the hills around my house to charge the battery a little.

I think the newest cars have no red tint on the roof at all.. I’ve never seen it on my 4/16 build. Kinda bummed really... I thought it looked cool. Oh well

Well I mean the wall charger charges at 44mph the 14-50 charges at 28ish? I wouldn’t think many people notice the difference because they just leave it plugged in overnight. If it was 100mph I would consider that a lot lol, but even then I would just plug it in when I got home and unplug it in...

Tesla wall charger is a little faster but not by a lot and most people will not notice if charging overnight. Tesla does recommend industrial grade outlets that cost a lot more than the 14-50 outlet you get from Lowe’s for that reason... the ones at big box stores are designed to get...

Tesla approved me for $50k 72mo 3.84% which is better than what my local CU offered. I’m going to give them a chance to match it or I’ll probably go with Tesla.

I think you have to use their special referral link when ordering. But I’m sure someone can get it added for you after the fact.

My account also use to show the referral program but now it doesn’t show anything. Trying to figure out if my referral code got removed due to an error last week where they tried to match me to an RWD can instead of AWD.. originally ordered 4/11 but now it shows I ordered 4/27.

Did you by chance also have a blue LR AWD with white interior? The guy I spoke to made it seem like it meant they were probably starting to build a run of that combination so it would mean I would be getting my VIN and all that assigned soon.

Finally got through to them.. Apparently it was some computer glitch and they corrected it. He also said it could be a good thing meaning they are building it currently and I should be getting a call soon to set up delivery. DBM, LR AWD, aero, FSD

I just ordered a blue/white AWD FSD a week ago and I’m already tired of waiting! I’ll drive myself crazy if I don’t hear anything in a month+ just to hear from them... I wish they were more accurate on the website. I was really hoping within 2 weeks was legitimately the expected eta.
