I have the OEM white dash, and am going to be replacing it soon because of the glare. It's pretty bad.

Thanks! Same, that's why I opted to keep the box a little smaller so I can still use the sub trunk cover. Fits like stock so I can still utilize the trunk as needed. And audio is being ported from the stock amp terminal to an LC6 Audio control converter to the aftermarket amp.

They're literally just the tiny left and right arrows by the knobs.. SUPER hard to see during the day and still hard to see at night.. I wish it was the emblem instead, lol.

Have this in another thread I started, but thought i'd share. Did a similar setup using the sub trunk, but had a custom box made fitted with 1" acrylic and the cover is still usable in case I need to use the trunk space for any reason. I'm still amazed on the fitment and the overall sound...

Almost there, quick update.. Went with a 10" P3 because the 12" wouldnt fit standing up.. used a 1" acrylic top, and the box had to be a bit slanted on 2 sides to fit in the under trunk.. VERY pleased so far, and can't wait for the final results :)

Was smooth on 12.1.1, sh*tted out on 12.1.2, black screen and occasional frame drop. But if on for a while, frames seem to stay steady.

Finally working with a shop local to me in the Bay Area to install a 12" RF P3 in the bottom trunk area (secret trunk) with a custom built sealed enclosure. Will try to document, but worst case you'll get the end results here. Labor is about 4 days, equipment is around $1,200

This was my absolute same idea on a setup, and THANK YOU for getting a detailed DIY instructions on it.

Funny enough, no call from Tesla, no appointment reminder, nada, but woke up this morning and traffic awareness was back. My trial originally had 20+ days left, but that got shut off. I'm just happy traffic awareness is back tbh.

Almost a week, still nothing. Got a call from Tesla that it got escalated to a site engineer, and they would try to fix remotely, but in the process, my Trial version of FSD is no longer available in the AutoPilot menu when I had 36 days left... Hoping I can get a discounted or free AutoPilot...

Nada :( It's extra broken. Scheduled service for Tuesday, so will see if they come back with any informative troubleshooting. Stay tuned.

I've heard nothing but quality from OCDetailing in Fremont. Prices are a little up there, but I think pretty comparable in the Bay.

Tried last night, still nothing this morning. Think i'm going to schedule a call with Tesla.

Thought it may have just been a quick glitch, but even after rebooting, seems like I can't get Auto anything to come up...... Also, cameras don't seem to be active either as i'm not getting any road or car detection on the screen... Any thoughts?

It's the first time i've seen the actual prompt come up today, but haven't checked the footage yet.
