Thanks to everyone for the replies. This is good to have here “for the record.” My question before in this thread was from reading those proposed 2 criteria too strictly. I had this same consideration when I put in my HPWC Gen 3 a few years ago. Went with 6/2 NM-B and a 50 amp circuit breaker...

I’m genuinely curious… wouldn’t the OP be in compliance with both #1 and #2? (how does he violate #2 by pulling 48amps from the HPWC?)

I don't understand why this is so difficult. This should be a no-brainer. "Hello, Tesla... I'd like to give you $$$ to upgrade to the latest headlights." Tesla goes "cool, we'd love to take your $$$." Done. Mildly silly.

Chris- No problem. Wish I could have gotten better pics, but was in a rush (and also had a line of cars behind me). I'm about 80% sure I saw a concrete pad with the huge conduits coming out of it. I believe on the east side of the overall installation. Could be wrong tho- assessed on the roll!

It's got to be a V3... no way you get 194kW on a V2. Maybe 148-150 at the best of conditions.

Swung by last weekend. Looks like this is just north of the Wahlburgers. Attached is a pic of where I think these will go (6 south of the parking lot bend & tree; 6 north of the bend). No signs of SpC construction at all, however.

That's a first, right? If so, my [SpC] life just got easier :) Now I can get to that location whenever; I was trying to a figure a way to squeeze in a drive up that way just to nab that single charger. I tried it a week ago but it wasn't turned on yet!

Checked around 4pm local today (Saturday). Bags still on the cabinets, no lights on stalls, no charge when plugged in. Not surprising, given it’s a weekend and there was lots of rain today.

I've had the Tesla ones for almost 2 years and like them a lot. The Top I leave on almost year round. The back goes in now and stays in until ~SEP/OCT.

What are you coming from now? My OE Michelin 20” PS4S had an 8.8” contact patch, despite being 235s. My 18” Pirelli P-Zero A/S have a 7.4” contact patch on their 235 model. It’s less contact of a less sticky compound, so efficieny went up. 245s of my same tire were listed as ~7.8” if I remember...

I went with Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus (235/45 R18 98Y XL). I have ~10,000 miles and am very happy with them. Will likely get them again in (hopefully) a few years. If I remember correctly, the main discriminator for me was the poor wet rating mentioned with some reviews for the P7's. The...
