Am I the only one new Tidal subscriber who’s noticing nearly every curated “popular” playlist is 95% rap or Adele? I find I have to do a lot of specific searching to find the other content. Spotify’s mixes seem to be easier in that regard while in motion.

Pull straight down on the front to remove the cubby under the screen. It has 2 metal retaining clips on the front, and two plastic tabs on the back.

Yeah - point being, the car came with a few more options that weren’t on the website or configuration details: MCU2, FSD computer, high amp charger upgrade, EAP

The car didn’t come with FSD, but it does have the FSD computer. I was expecting to see HW 2.0 or 2.5 if I was lucky.

Also curious to know the total cost. And if you are paying for a full replacement pack, I would think it should one that is completely new, not at all degraded. The warranty replacement packs were only required to be as good as what they were replacing.

In two years, I rebuilt one due to noise on my 2013 S, but not a failure. The tiny spring was misaligned on the shaft. All of mine see heavy use as a family hauler. My car is garaged 90% of the time at home and work. I wonder if those with multiple failures have cars that spend more time exposed...

D&V did a fantastic job on my S when it was rear ended last year. Paint is perfect and the service was top notch.

I agree to a point. When I’m traveling with the family, I generally want more than a quick in and out, especially when food is involved. On the many road trips we’ve been on, we tire quickly of the MTO cuisine, especially when there are no tables available for seating.

Had the MCU2 upgrade done on my 2013 today. What a difference! Still showing as “coming soon” on the website, but 100% can confirm it’s available for the older pre-AP cars now.

You can still order the Tesla installed console through a service request in the app. I just had it done a couple weeks ago after it vanished from the website.

That’s what I’m thinking. If their supply chain is efficient enough, the parts arrive just in time to build the cars so they aren’t sitting on huge stockpiles of parts and the associated storage issues. In that case it would be Fairly easy to identify the exact cars affected by a known bad lot...

Could it also be the case that there was a bad batch of a particular part number, and they know which cars that particular run went into?

Interesting: My June 2013 built car has the old control arm part numbers. I asked Tesla to verify if my VIN was affected by this particular TSB, and if so, would happily pay for a preemptive replacement. They came back and said I was in the clear. Saved a few bucks by checking first

My pre AP S85 is scheduled for the upgrade next Tuesday. Got the notification in the app that it was available for my VIN on Saturday.

My car makes this noise fairly often. I can’t tie it to any particular circumstance - seems to happen randomly and for random amounts of time. Sometimes a few seconds, sometimes for the entire drive. It’s coming from inside the dash. When I’ve asked Tesla - never seems to do it when they are...

The OEM fit and finish is outstanding. My seat no longer rubs and squeaks against the console. Now I have quality rear cupholders, plus deep storage/cup holders in front and the OEM wireless charging for my phone. I had an aftermarket drop in console before, and there is no comparison.

Update! I had the premium center console installed by a mobile tech last week. After not being able to get it in the Tesla shop, I set up a service visit via the app. They were able to order and install no problem. Very happy!
