Something broke, judder, warning lights, etc...

So I was driving away from my house the other day and got a bit of a judder. Then taking off from a stop sign the traction control cut power for 2 seconds. Not long after I started getting warning lights. I tried rebooting with the scroll wheels and brake pedal and there was zero change. I...

The quest for wider wheels and tires, 295, 305 and beyond...

A few people here have been discussing the possibilities of getting wider wheels and tires under the Model 3 for track/autox use. So it is about time to start a public thread to see if the community has any good input. What we know fits: 18x9.5+35 with 275/40-18 19x10+30 with 275/35-19 The...

I am pretty certain it just has wheels, tires...

    Overhead garage charging

So I wanted to park my model 3 on the right side of my garage. But that meant plugging in to charge was a 2 handed operation and I had to walk around the back of the car. I decided it was worth it to put in a little effort to come up with something better. So I welded up some wall brackets from...

How to get people so street race you...?

So how can I get people to street race me in the Tesla? In a normal car you could rev up the engine at a stoplight. But in the Tesla that obviously isn't an option. Combined with the fact that anyone who knows a lot about cars won't stoplight race against the Tesla because they know they will...

FYI - You can't charge a Tesla from a Honda Ridgeline

So FYI just in case anyone has been thinking of trying this. The 2017+ Honda Ridgeline has a powerful 500 watt 110v outlet in the bed which should in theory be enough to trickle charge the Tesla. I made the appropriate dummy plug to fool the Tesla into thinking it had ground but it still would...
