    Driver Door Klonk

Just a stupid idea, have you checked the attachment screws in the front of the door? Some were loose on my car.

My FWD door is stuck open due to a botched DIY adjustment

Ok, now I understand! Sorry for this. In my earlier explanation I mixed latch and striker, should be "backwards" as you said. (I have been working with the frunk latch recently)! Sorry again, thanks for correction!

My FWD door is stuck open due to a botched DIY adjustment

May be there are some mistake in what we mean by "striker and latch". I mean the striker is situated in the moving door and the latch is in the chassis, the sill.

My FWD door is stuck open due to a botched DIY adjustment

I just moved it forward-backwards and very little in-out. -Sorry, what do you mean by rotate the latch?

My FWD door is stuck open due to a botched DIY adjustment

I had about the same trouble but not exactly, I think. The door was front inwards and rear out a few mm:s and about some mm low. The "low" was adjusted with the striker lowered in the door itself. The "in and out" by moving the the latch a little bit forward with some minor adjustings in or out

Are adjustable toe arms necessary for better rear tire wear?

Often they are marked "outside" even if they are unidirectional.
  10. R

Are adjustable toe arms necessary for better rear tire wear?

I don´t know because only 3k miles, but the old right tire had -1.5 degrees according to measurements when the arms were installed. This was not enough, even if it was better than the left tire which had -2.5 degrees with very bad inner wear. Replaced both rear at about 15k. Total toe ealier...

Are adjustable toe arms necessary for better rear tire wear?

I have installed camber arms from Unplugged and tried to have -1.0 degree camber in low . It was not possible to set toe-in to an acceptable value with OEM adjusting means on the left side. I had to go back to -1.5 degree to be able to have acceptable toe-in. Raven 2019.
  12. R

Are adjustable toe arms necessary for better rear tire wear?

Raven, and I think earlier MX, has adjustable eccentric bolts for toe-in, but no adjustable arms from Tesla new deliveries.

Are adjustable toe arms necessary for better rear tire wear?

    No not legacy MX!!

Front Passenger Safety Restraint System Fault

Sorry but this was under the first week when the car was new , so Tesla fixed it twice before it was ok. You have to look under the seat and search for some loose connector. It could just be not inserted enough. Safety cables should be yellow color I think, not quite sure!

Model X - Adjustable Camber arms to reduce rear tire wear

I meant the rear of course! Sorry I thought we discussed the rear.

Front Passenger Safety Restraint System Fault

I have a Raven x with this error twice when the car was new. Under the seat there was a connector which happened to disengage when the seat was moved. The harness was too short attached by by the straps. The fix was to openup the straps and realign everything .

Model X - Adjustable Camber arms to reduce rear tire wear

The camber arms have never been with eccentric bolts, I am quite sure. May be the the very earliest.

N2itive’s Alignment Kit 1 vs. Unplugged Performance

I have Unplugged installed. I like them better than N2itive because there is just milled and threaded parts, think they are more reliable. N2itive may be have welded parts, I am not sure. They are a more complex design. You do'nt need to take off the wheel again to adjust, but be sure to have...

Model X - Adjustable Camber arms to reduce rear tire wear

Hardrace are with pillow block which is more sensitive for wear and bad road conditions and also could generate more noise inside. N2itive is with rubber bushings better for wear and noise. I have installed Unplugged Performance links, also with rubber bushings, like them better than N2itive.
  22. R

Model x adjustable camber arms 2022

Yes the original distance for the height sensor attachment in the camber link is only correct with the adjustment screws at the road wheel side. If opposite the distance will normally be longer and the sensor link is not in original position. The sensor will therefore compensate and alter the...

Model x adjustable camber arms 2022

Yes, I have them installed quite expensive but I like they are manufactured with no welding parts. Just machined alu alloy. The shop installed them the wrong way, so I told them to install with the adjusted part to the wheel side, which is correct. Otherwise the height will not be the same as...

Removing door handle bezel (chrome); should be simple!

There is a small notch on the backside of the handle. On the door part there is a small plastic part which is stopping the handle movement via the notch. I used a small screwdriver which I bent and sharpend to lift the plastic part. There is a small hole in the backside of the door and by...

    Hansshow Frunk 2021+/refresh

I have an older variant from 2020. There were troubles with locking down. The solution was the hook, it was not in the right position relative the locking mechanism. I had to move it about 5mm to the left. Afterwards everything was ok. May be you should check it, just another idea!

    Wipers always scraping?

I had the same trouble. Fixed it by looking at the wiper arm if it was "parallell" with the glass surface and bent it right . It is now perfect no rubbing. If you try to correct, be sure you don´t damage the glass and the arm fixation. I used a bath towel under and 2 wrenches at the arm to bend...

Rotated my wheels and took rear tire wear measurements after 4500 miles

Alignment measured in standard settings or low? In my opinion it seems you have some more wear on the inside of the rear tires but difficult to judge from the photos.

In summertime, at home when the car 2019 Raven is parked with the door in direct sunlight, my right door sensor is telling some obstruction. But not from Oct-March.

    N2itive Alignment Kit 1 for 2017 MX

Sorry, but I was not quite sure if it was welded or not, often they are. How is the threaded part attached to the part with the rubber bushing? Is it machined altogether in one piece?
  32. R

    N2itive Alignment Kit 1 for 2017 MX

Anyone installed the Unplugged Performance adjustable camber arms? I think they are quite robust, I don´t like the N2itive solution with the "welded"? connection to the adjustable side bushing. If it is welded, how to ensure it is correct? Failure have to be dramatic!

There are cv.joints also in the rear drive shafts so you have ball channels !

    Tesla X HEPA Filter retrofit

Derkan said: Ok so let me clarify what I misstated. There is some sort of damper near the front bumper that opens/closes based on the recirc mode. There seems to be some air return pathway that goes through there. I should have said that's also where the air inlet is. But that damper clearly...

    Tesla X HEPA Filter retrofit

The fresh air inlet to the HEPA filter is NOT under or at the the front bumper! The air inlet is upwards where the Tesla "T" is and the air is guided down and backwards to the filter. The air under or at the bumper is for cooling purposes of cooling water etc.

Treefrog roof rack for Model X

How long are your skies? May be you don't need any modification. I modified the transverse part supporting the very front of the upper trunk floor.
