Tesla needs to add a Date Mode which would allow the stereo to stay on when the passenger door is opened first and then stay on long enough for the driver to walk around and get into the driver seat. Or call it, Happy wife, happy life mode

My model 3 will not unlock unless the Tesla app is running. This was not the case previously. I use to just have to have the phone in the proximity of the car. Is anyone else experiencing this?

To all the Bay Area peeps, I just took my P3D into the Seaside service department and was blown away with how professional they are compared to the other service centers I have been to. I am sure the fact that they are small helps them be able to do so yet even still their deserve the kudos.

Issue resolved. The service department did a hard reboot and it fixed it. They said the reason it happened is that the latest firmware update did not complete for some reason which caused the issues. They reinstalled the latest update and no more issues.

I called service today and they got me an appointment in a few days. Hopefully whatever is constantly running under the front area doesn’t burn out or shorten its life. Someone thought it might be the cooling system for the batteries. I do notice a big clunk sound from time to time when parked.

Mine is actually showing 272 in the mornings now. I wonder if it has to do with that i charge to 90% each night yet only drive approx. 50 miles a day. Maybe its not calculating correctly because of the short distances???

I have my I-phone synced correctly and I have the option selected to show my calendar in the morning yet it is no longer showing up. Did this go away in a recent software upgrade? It was nice to see my calendar every morning automatically.

I wonder if there would be a noticeable different between the front sunroof being 35% and the rear window being 25%? This way I could still see out the front sunroof at night.

I am leaning towards 25% on all the side windows and back and front sunroof. Does anyone with 25% have a hard time seeing other cars at night? My last car was a BMW with 20% and I didn't have an issue. Wondering if it would be different on a Tesla with the auto dimming mirrors.

I would like to see the inside looking up to see the shade difference between the rear window and the front roof glass.

I am looking at the Stratos Series Premium tint which is ceramic. Thinking of going with 25% all the way around including the full back window (not the windshield). I am thinking of tinting the sunroof window as well so it will match the rear window sunroof.

I am looking to tint the windows and roof of my MSM P3D. I am trying to decide how dark to go and would love to see some pictures of other peoples Model 3s with tinted windows. I am sitting on the fence between 20%, 25% and 35%.

I noticed the fake wood on the dash is loose where one of the noises is coming from. Are other model 3 owners able to wiggle the wood on the dash up and down?

I have the same sounds coming from the front left of my Model 3. It sounds like something flapping in the wind. Did you ever determine what it was?

I called service today and they told me if the squeaks and rattles are due to a defect they will cove the cost. I would think they would be since not all Model 3's have the same issue.

The one squeaking sound seems to be coming from the fake wood trim along the dash. It almost seems loose. The other rattle squeak is coming from under the center counsel. Hopefully the service department fixes it when I take it in next week.

iI have had my new P3D for week now have noticed an annoying rattle from somewhere in my dash, center console or glove box. It seems to be getting worse. Has anyone else had this issue? At first it would happen at certain temperatures but now it it has it all the time.
