    EU finalize and deliveries

It will be a blue/white S Plaid with yoke and FSD. I ordered it last week from inventory. It will replace a 2015 blue/tan S P85DL, 76000km with 7 seats and free supercharging. I have it near Faro. If anyone is interested, please PM.

I'll be picking up a car near Lisbon next week. Tesla gave me the following address. Could someone post a pin to the exact location, please? Castanheira Do Ribatejo-Tradisa Estrada Cais da Vala Castanheira do Ribatejo, Lisboa 2600-728

Survey sent to M3 reservation holders in Poland. These will be first deliveries in our country. Seems the West is temporarily saturated and finally we get some. With a higher expected inventory as anticipated we would like to know what the actual demand will be as we are aiming to deliver these...

I find it interesting to read different tones from EU and US posters. Guess this is because US is at an earlier stage. People locked down at home for a few weeks tend to be more grumpy. Here's a nice semi-log scale graph showing where the US currently is. Edit: source on request. John...

I have buy orders at 450 and 400 today. Planning to buy all the way down to 50 in 50 increments. Should that happen, I'll have an avg buying price of 223 and a 77% loss. Then I plan to wait.

Yes, that is cold weather related and not driving style. Anyway, car threw the error after updating software and before driving out of garage.

I installed it today and got this. Did power on/off and reset both screens. No change. Wife says she nearly crashed due to no regen surprise. Not happy.

Look at that body kit! Rear diffuser and holes behind front wheels. What are they called and what's their purpose please? Edit: they're called fender vents and purpose is to relief pressure in the wheel arch that would cause lift.

My 2015 P85DL would throttle back due to thermal limits after only a few corners at a race track. Has this been solved? Which year/model? I know a M3P is OK for track and there's plenty of videos around, but a Model S? Can't find any P100DL videos from Nurburgring. I'm afraid that Elon set...

To understand turn signals at roundabouts it's best to imagine they're straight roads. Cut the circle somewhere and stretch it. Then you'll see that turn signal at exit (junction) is correct, but no turn signal to remain in your lane.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

My interpretation of the investor meeting is that Tesla is moving away from the "profitable all quarters going forward" cash cow narrative back towards cash burning growth mode. The real reason for this is that they failed to deliver financially and the official reason (or excuse) is FSD and the...

South, especially Silesia, is the region of mines, ironworks and factories. It's also closer to Germany than Gdansk and connected with a motorway, which Gdansk isn't. Would be very odd to build a factory in Gdansk, but hey, anything is possible.

    Tire pressure warning

I thought that maybe the comparison is done in PSI, so switched units and.. no. That wasn't it either. Then it magically fixed itself and car is now happy with all tires at 2.7. Had this warning for a couple of days and an hour after posting here, it's gone. Hmmm..

It's 2.9 on the sticker. My question is: why is 2.8 on the left white, while 2.8 on the right is yellow.

    Tire pressure warning

Could someone please explain this indication to me? The two right tires were low, 2.5 bar. I pumped them up to 2.8, but the warning doesn't go away. Resetting screens doesn't help.

Yes, the Model Y was not properly displayed. One in a row of four. Not even properly lighted. I like it's shape a lot. It looks like a small BMW X6, which is cool. There's something wrong about Model X proportions. Only a mother could love it as they say. Not so with Model Y.

The table you posted shows electricity consumption. Electricity consumption is a function of vehicle weight, shape and motor efficiency. Not related to cells or cell chemistry. Just make a small car and it will have low consumption.

This may have to do with Tesla making cars and typical automaker P/E of 6, not 20. I'm betting on FSD making Tesla more of an IT company and being valued like one. I know it's a risky bet. Other advantages like battery and motor efficiencies are not convincing enough for me. I expect things to...

OFF TOPIC Sorry for the off-topic, but this is getting very interesting (again). GLF6 is not approved for single-pilot operations like many smaller jets are. Are you sure a non type rated pilot is of any use? As in the AC if effectively flown by one pilot if the other one goes to sleep.

I'm genuinely interested. Not making fun or anything. How does Brexit impact Tesla the Company or TSLA stock price? Tesla is not making cars in the UK. Do they have important suppliers there? Is the UK a major market for Tesla, like US, China or the EU? The only way I see it impact the stock...

jbcarioca, that flight you expected to arrive a few hours earlier was over 13h. In line with China Eastern 578 flying on the same route at the same time. GLF6 is faster than an airliner but not on such a long trip. Would be low on fuel if flown at max cruise.

    1. Lemur is not yet available in Europe. It's only dual motor, long-range. They're milking the high end first. 2. Non-core Europe is still closed for M3 orders. They could open it, but choose not to. Means they have enough orders.

Do you mean the 777 introduced 26 years ago or the A380 introduced 12 years ago? Yes, he seemed to be mixing speed and distance. Mach number is irrelevant when explaining what a Nautical Mile is. (won't reply further)
  46. L

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Standard pressure is 1013, not 1015 hPa. Nautical Miles are used to express distance both below and above the transition layer. How does cruising at Mach .85 make him arrive a few hours earlier than an A380 cruising at .85 or a 777 cruising at .84? I'm also sorry for being off-topic, but...
