A minor disagree on that point: I drive my M3 most often in Chill mode, and it doesn't lag or lack power at all; indeed, compared to most ICE cars, it's instant and powerful acceleration. Yes, not having it in Chill Mode is faster, but the difference is not huge, I don't think.

SP inclusion: there are so many different opinions here that I may be losing the plot. No, wait, no 'may' about it.... So, let's imagine the inclusion announcement is Friday AH, or perhaps Tuesday AH. Wouldn't the big funds, whoever they are, be buying huge amounts of stock in anticipation...

I know it's a matter of degree, but worth noting that AAPL and FB are down 5% and 4% respectively......

I've said this before on here: the volatility of this stock is truly amazing. Then people say "nah, this is nothing". No, I still know this is amazing! But of course who cares when you're just a holder like me :-)

My 2 cents as we enter the weekend: Thursday and Friday were excellent reminders (at least to me) that profits and losses only occur when selling; until then it's all on paper only. Like many here, I imagine, the value of my portfolio (a fancy name for a bunch of TSLA stock!) has dropped...

There's a very good reason why I would never try to day trade TSLA. Because I don't have the slightest idea in which direction the SP is going to go at any given moment. Or why. Or why not. Totally confusing and mysterious. HODL is about all I have confidence in :-)

Embarrassingly, it was! Kind of. Your answer could be no, never has been. Or it could be yes, many others have been like this. You're not dealing with an experienced investor here :-)

So, a couple of days ago TSLA closes at just under 1002. Then over 2 days we get lots of apparently negative news stories. Today it sinks to about 940. And then remarkably rises to 985. Would I be far off the mark thinking that institutions shook out the weak longs for a couple of days...
