I have a Model Y and same thing happened to me just a couple weeks ago when they had to change the controller for the 12V system. Mirror and seat work, but steering wheel doesn't adjust with driver profile.

Congrats. Test the door by rolling the windows down and then closing the door. If it is still hard to close, it is not normal. If it is not, this is normal, in fact, 2 my previous German cars had the same feeling.

Yep, I get white screen with "Error has occurred" message. Can't access any app features (or the car via app). Account page down as well on the website.

Wonder if your car got stuck in an update or some other issue happened specific to your car regarding the key issues. Both the keycard and the phone key should work regardless of the network. Good luck.

You don’t need the Tesla network for keycards to unlock the car. In fact, even your phone key will work to get in the car, though the Tesla app itself is not connecting to the car (just tried this to confirm).

This sounds like a different problem, since card keys do not need connection to the Tesla network.

Backing in to a post normally would just be a bumper issue. With Model Y, it also is a rear hatch issue because the bottom of the hatch becomes part of the bumper area. Really flawed design IMO.

Did you get any quotes around town? I’m only planning to do ceramic coating so I can use drive through car washes without worrying about trim discoloration... also tint on front windows and windshield... no ppf or paint correction.

It’s irrelevant whether you wait or not, at this point, since delivery estimate is 10-14 weeks. No one can be sure, but I’m expecting nothing out of battery day with respect to the Y production until at least GigaBerlin and GigaTexas are ready.

I assume this is part joke and part true :) For me, it's fairly easy: paint mismatch is a no-no, as well as severe paint issues. Right now AWD orders are estimated to be delivered in 10-14 weeks. Total speculation, but I think they may be getting ready to fill the RWD preorders starting October.

They will release when AWD orders are less than the total capacity of the Y assembly lines. They do not want to have people Delay their AWD order and wait for RWD by giving an exact date.

From what I’ve read, door misalignments appear to be the easiest fixes. For some people they literally fixed on the lot before delivery. If this happened to me, I’d definitely keep it, especially if this is the only problem with the car
