How do you set the different model performance in a model x with software v11 ? I can only see instructions where you select the “T” and that doesn’t appear to be on screen anymore.

I don’t see where to do this anymore, there’s no “T” at the top of my menu (latest update 2016 model X). I want to let someone use my car but lower the performance from P100DL to something reasonable that they won’t destroy my car 😇

Unfortunately in Norway they're quoting half an hour for this. I'm trying to find where to do a 12v reset on a Model X - anyone know how to do this?

I’m at a glass shop trying to get my Tesla MX back glass replaced and the active spoiler is the caveat…. There has to be a better way than breaking it?

My 2016 MX back liftgate glass shattered. Was cold out (below 40 Degrees F) and was warming the interior when it made a loud noise and just shattered. Super strange. Never experienced this in dozens of cars I’ve owned and 30+ years of driving.

2018 MX just happened to me, liftgate glass, cold outside and was warming up inside when it suddenly popped, quite alarming. Trying to schedule a service. Doubt they’ll cover it but who knows.

Interesting thread. It’s happening to me on my 2016 P100DL (upgraded battery). Hoping this doesn’t mean I’ll need the MCU replacement soon. Did anyone else observe this lead to needing this replacement? Did it just go away?

I do not have SIM coverage for some reason in one of the countries I’m passing through in Europe and so I am missing that’s green and have no other way of getting there… There has to be another way, right? I thought there was a way before…

I am stuck trying to remove the sliding floor plates in front of the seat post on the 6-seat captains chairs 😕

Pre-2023 Model X this is super difficult because of the sliding cover plate, can’t access the boots without removing it and very difficult to see how to remove it.

Like can you disable auto door opening and closing? Maybe just normal mechanical door would be fine in this case? Or is that not an option?

Thanks for the advise @geordi … I’ll stay out of the seat menu, hope it works. I’m mostly disappointed about losing use of the third row of seats, would be nice to have the seats when I might need them, and someone mentioned that if you even accidentally lift the headrest you have to install...

So I purchased a 2016 MX 6s P100DL and am going to go through the process to remove the middle row so I can drive it around Europe and camp... wish it didn't have the drawbacks that have been discussed in other threads (inoperable third row, error warning), but I think it's going to be fun...

I'm trying to figure this out as well with a 2016 MX 6S... how to keep the third row of seats operable? Here's another guy who removed one of the 6 seats, same issues though:
