Check the log; there should be an error code showing up. Send it to Tesla Service. My charge door on my 2021 M3 had the opposite problem: sometimes it wouldn’t open. Tesla Mobile Service replaced it under warranty. Took about 30 minutes.

Keep trying and it may work eventually. Tesla seems to use the same crappy WiFi setup in their cars and the HPWC; I always have to try multiple times to get it to accept the password. I don’t have that problem with any other WiFi appliance.

SXM app on my iPhone + BT to the car. Adequate but nowhere near as convenient as a properly integrated SXM receiver or app. But I knew that going in and still got the car and don’t regret it. (and voice commands via Alexa Auto are a non-starter for me)
