Hey - did you get to the bottom of this? Were you able to get it resolved? Started getting the same error message on my Model S a few days ago and am out of warranty so I’m hoping I don’t need to replace the door or the port. Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.

Agreed! Wireless charging is definitely my choice, especially on the move. It also provides a nice view with the phone facing up in case you receive any notifications.
