No, I’m down in Lethbridge. Regardless, it sounds like they install mudflaps depending on where the car is delivered, not where the customer drives it to.

Update: received official Tesla text message to schedule delivery. Vin now showing on my account page. It never did show up in the source code!

I placed an order in Calgary on July 3rd. No Vin or any account changes outside of a congratulations email from an associate at the local store. Checking for updates probably 3 times a day! Keep us posted,

Data point: I spoke with a sales associate and they confirmed that here in Canada you do not need to upload your insurance docs until the day of delivery.

Ordered a SR+ (Midnight) on 07/03 to Alberta, Canada. Estimated window at the time was 8-12 weeks, but the site says 5-8 weeks now (for new orders). The Teslike gsheet seems to show an average that is lower, so fingers crossed!

I ordered on 7/3. No delivery date yet, but I’ve ordered the 15-30 power adapter, Tesla floor liners, matte console wrap and lug nut covers. Looking to get a T5 SSD and winter tires before too long.

Does anyone know if VINs are assigned automatically, or is this something the SA needs to do manually at the delivery location?

My home has a garage door opener with a MyQ logo on it... does this mean I don't have to purchase the $300 Homelink upgrade? Is the car able to control MyQ without additional hardware? My SR+ is currently on order (7/3) and I'm trying to get my garage ready! Thanks

I ordered on 7/3 and my account page is showing "Upload Proof of Insurance". I do not have an assigned VIN yet, so I've been waiting to do that, but I've read here and they're actually asking for your CURRENT insurance? Is this true? If so, why? My SA is on vacation so I figured I'd ask here...

I believe so. When I did my financing in Canada a few weeks ago (through Tesla) I was surprised to see that it automatically defaulted to $0 for downpayment. I was expecting to pay at least $7500 CAD down... I’m not sure if it is adjustable, but I figured I’d look into it when I get the actual...

I’d say it depends on your financing rates / terms. In Canada we are getting very low rates (2.8 % APR) so if your investments have a better return, I’d finance the car instead of putting that cash into an asset that diminishes in value.

Sorry to hear that. A person from Tesla Calgary seems to have been assigned to me. I received a “congratulations” email on the 5th from her and another a few days later letting me know she was heading out for a few weeks on vacation. Keep us posted!

Looks like it has been quiet on here for a while. Ordered on July 3rd a M3 SR+ for delivery in Calgary. Tesla website is showing 8-12 weeks! Has anyone else seen an 8-12 week timeline?Is that typically accurate? I have a Long wait ahead and I’m looking forward to reading this forum to completion.
