New Update ..... They still have not fixed the bill yet 😄and it's been 10 months so far. I have now filed a complaint with CPUC, let's see if that makes any difference. 2 months to my True Up and my current bill is $1400.00
My solar panels were installed not too long after you had yours installed. I thought your billing was good. SCE told me that they have to manually fix it back to my PTO date of 9/10/2020
I'm still on my old billing with no mention of NEM anywhere. They just keep extending my due date by 30 days. Some reps ask me to just pay the past due and get a credit once they fix the bill and I just decline that since we are supposed to true up at the 1yr mark.
Thanks, I just wish SCE could get their billing corrected. I'll just have to wait until next month and see if they can fix it, but I have a feeling it won't get fixed.
Hello all and Happy Tuesday. I wanted to see if any of you that have SCE are having issues with their billing . I received PTO on 9/10 and was told by SCE it can take 30-60 days before they have their billing corrected in their system. It has now been 3 months and they still have no clue on will...
My advisor just submitted my application to SCE for PTO yesterday and today it just got approved. My advisor fired up the app and this is my 1st official day of production ( wink wink) in this crazy haze in SoCal. My system 5.44 16 panels.
The install went super fast and the crew was done in about 5hrs max. They did shut the power off for little more than 1hr. I did not have any powerwalls to install, so I'm sure that made the install go quickly.
Quick question about the install process. Is the power shut off for a full 8 hours or just when they get ready to complete the install to the electric panel?
Thanks
Yes, I didn’t think I needed the Powerwall as we really never have any rolling blackouts here and I would rather save the cash and wait for the price and technology to change to make it worth it.
Hello All, my install is set for this Thursday 8/27. My only concern is that I haven’t had a site visit or anyone telling me that my electrical panel needs to be upgraded. I would’ve figured they would’ve done the site visit 1st then pulled the permits. I started my order in 8/11 and it seems...
I ordered the small system and texted my advisor that I wanted 16 panels and after a few attempts (kept sending me 15 panel setup), they got it right. You can also email [email protected] and they are pretty good at responding with the corrections.
Hello, I plan on adding more panels with the small system as well. What did the extra 2 panels cost as the upgrade? I'm looking to add 4 more for a total of 16 panels and no Powerwalls.
Thanks,
Hello All, just wanted to get some feedback on ordering my system. I am planning on getting a custom system with 16 panels and didn't know if I should order the small or medium system then ask to customize it, not sure if it makes a difference.
Thanks,
Thanks again Socal Dave for the reply, The only breaker that trips sometimes is my stove top, it's an induction cook top and can draw extra power if we cook more than 3 items on the stove at full power. The Spa never tripped and breakers.
