Yes, I realise that I can set separate volume levels for the audio stream and navigation but what I was hoping for was automated muting of the audio stream to allow you to hear the directions like happens in every other car.

Mine doesn't. I'm sure the volume of the audio is the same with the navigation just "talking over" the audio source.

I could do the same but then I would also have to manually start the a/c to warm the car as the Tesla does not have an a/c timer (the car warming function is only part of the scheduled departure process).

When I use my (Android) phone the home screen shows an icon for the Tesla app followed by a 6 digit number. The same number appears in the app called Tesla Advanced Notifications. What does this number mean and can it be changed? If I name my car, will the name appear instead of the number?
