Well it’s more principal than price, buy an EV to help reduce emissions which have higher costs and then getting penalised for it. My old car a diesel was £20 a year tax.

Thanks for your replies. It was probably a stupid question of me, never brought a new car before. I paid cash so will wait for v5. Glad they overturned the premium car tax on EVs, that would have probably stopped me from buying one.

Mr. Miserable, do you know why the vast majority of ro-ro’s have their main loading ramp on the starboard side and therefore have to moor as such? I thought port would have been a more logical default.

Given her max speed is about 20 knots and lets says for simplicity she is doing 10 knots. For every hour she’s in bad weather she’s going to be delayed by 30 minutes. See as she’s had a day of bad weather and got another day to come, my reckoning is a delay of about a day.

I am almost certain now from what I have seen that they are all 2021 in all flavours (my SR+ is on there), I guess there are some LHDs which will be unloaded in a shortish stop in Zeebrugge but the majority for RHDs for U.K.. as Europe has LHDs coming from China also.

Well you’re the only one who misinterpreted it then. Plus I think Zeebrugge port know their own mooring schedule better than you do (the source of the timings: Ship arrivals | Port of Zeebrugge).

I never said there was a delay. I said her speed has decreased due to bad weather.

The Antwerp has now slowed due to poor weather. According to Zeebrugee port arrivals she’s due at 05:00 UTC and departs at 22:00 UTC for Southampton, the longshoreman are going to have to work like mad to unload in only 17 hours!

The Antwerp looks like it’s not having/going to have a smooth time too. Nice to know my blinker fluid will be well mixed!

The answer to your second question is no. My SR+ is on the Antwerp, confirmed by Tesla themselves.

New to here, I’ve had a rather unusual experience so far. I ordered a SR+ MSM 19” on the 20th October with estimated delivery of “November”, got a text the day after on the 21st saying “a car has been allocated to me and we shall be in contact shortly to arrange delivery”. I called on the 26th...

SAT is back up now.

The SAT hasn’t updated for nearly 7 hours now for the Antwerp. Could be thousands of Teslas including mine at the bottom of the sea now... Also, there looks like a massive backlog on either side of the canal so may be delayed by that.

No SAT update for the Antwerp in 4.5 hours now.
