Hi all, an update. My vehicle was in for failed heating and I mentioned this. Success! The technician said "found the retrofit instructions, looks like it just needs the configuration changed". Car back and Boombox is enabled and working, PWS also without a reboot! It works!

Wish I had read this before buying the speaker and the screws (which incidentally didn't fit after waiting a month, and I also pranged my alloy driving 60 miles to collect them!). It works perfectly on reboot, then stops working at an unknown time (maybe when car sleeps) until I reboot again...

Well, I asked to migrate to Oct, took less than 2 weeks over Xmas time, then called a week later and asked to go Agile, they said we'll install your smart meter next week if you like. Now I'm a week with it installed awaiting the system to recognise whilst on expensive tariff. Sorry to hear you...

Wouldn't worry about it, I've not had any texts and I'm all booked for collection just under 3 weeks. Tesla really push to get everything done before end of quarter, so if yours is a standard sort of spec, likely from what I've read.
