Same here. The waiting game continues.
Amusingly we've had the insurance running agains the car for 2 weeks now - it's time to get that paused until delivery.
Thanks for the replies. So it sounds like then that my issue is unique - I wonder if it has something to do with being an early RHD car.
I definitely wouldn't say the slopes I've been on have been severe at all (maybe 10 degrees at most) so it's quite unusual that it is refusing to open. It's...
We just took delivery of our Model X last week and we immediately noticed an issue with the front doors. If the car is tilted at all, from left-to-right or vice versa, then the higher door is unable to open itself and the lower door is unable to close itself. As an example, if I'm pulled up the...
mhh, you should be fine. Just set your cruise to 90km/h and cool the cabin to around 21C. The aircon is very efficient and the higher temperatures will lower wind resistance so I'm confident you can make it (I've done it easily).
I did the trip from Melbourne to Adelaide and back via Raidis Estate over the weekend. The owners of Raidis are really lovely and there are a decent number of eateries in town, which is about a 20min walk. Blog post will be coming this weekend.
I've found the car's energy planning to be very accurate. EVTP appears to have an issue with hills in that it overestimates how much you'll use going up and underestimates how much you'll get coming down.
My wife now owns 2 Model S and all the "issues" that you are complaining about are not issues in the slightest:
Door Handles - DOA handles are still an issue (as are DOA issues for many different components of many cars) but it's very rare for a handle to stop functioning months after arrival...
That's a shy over 100kW so perhaps it can draw that much when the showroom is completely closed. However, it should be able to pull 120kW at that state of charge, so I assume upgrades are not complete.
I'm picking up 4 friends and their respective luggage from the airport and I was wondering if anyone has managed to fit 4 full size suitcases in the trunk? In theory it's possible, I'm just hoping someone has done it.
I think they will easily do 3 a day here. At Sydney they seem to be delivering 2-3 a day at the moment and they are always booked full for test drives.
Meloccom, you were spotted by one of my friends today.
I saw a white one in Manly on Friday, anyone know who that is?
I also spotted a green one sitting next to our car last night:
EVTripplanner actually gets this trip very wrong. From my experience you use around 135km on the way up and around 20-30km on the way back. I believe it very conservative when it comes to downhill regen.
