May I know if there's a chance to the algorithm used by Tesla to calculate the PW degradation? If I remember correctly, it showed 1 % earlier in the year, now it's showing only 0.2%, magically it's been improved.

The app is getting better, thanks. I'm going to ditch my PW dashboard which I have to run on a separate pc. Just curious what/how people are using the powerwall automation for.

I only have 1 PW, I got $109.72 this time(2023) compared to only about $75 (2022). If I remember correctly, 2022 had more VPP events than 2023. Not sure what had changed.

Just curious what is the % degradation of PW especially for those who have it for several years. I have my PW+ for 21 months and it's mounted outdoor. I'm on TOU and usually drain it to 10% or less daily. So far, the app is telling me there's only 1% degradation.

Yes, but I'm cuirous what they have seen on their end to trigger the refill. The neurio meter connection hasn't been working since installation. I didn't bother to follow up since Tesla got the SREC, not me.

Out of the blue, I got two calls from Tesla today. One is to check the neurio meter connection and another one to set up a service appt to refill the coolant in PW. According to SCE. it's -4,358 kWh. I called them about the check option, they said I can't cash out for this year but next settlement bill and I have to make official request within 6 months before next settlement date.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yea, timing the VPP events is challenging. I'm a net producer, since I overized my system. If I understand correctly, by setting the backup reserve for PW to highest amount (close to 100%) should minimize the discharge, right?

If I remember correctly, my reserve was set to 5%, but somehow it didn't export the max. Do I need to change energy exports from "solar" to "everything"? Not sure if I manually adjusted the TOU schedule and pricing caused it to export less during the VPP events. Ha, I probably won't turn off...

I just received the email for SCE yesterday, it's only for $71. I only have 1 PW. I would like to know how can I export the max in this year's VPP events. What settings can I set in the app?

i joined the last 5 VPP events and with the heat wave is returning, I'm expecting there will be VPP. During the last VPP, I think my only 1 PW exported about 2-3kw on avg to the grid. Is it possible to maximize the VPP export and how? Thanks.

I went up to roof to clean my panels last weekend. Noticed a 6% production improvement.

My bad, the UI is a bit confusing. It shows the event is active which it hasn't started. It shows power flow but the status was charging.

Me. Probably won't get much payout but every cent counts towards the cost of PW.

I think it's messed up, it's not supposed to discharge until 6p.m. but it's already discharging as of now.

So, I attempted to clean part of my panels last evening. I used the water fed extended cleaning brush pole with soft water. I didn't go on roof, just cleaned from ground and on the ladder. I noticed this morning that not all streaks, dust were removed. I will have to go onto roof to do more...

So, you didnt have the shut down your system when it's cool? What if there's a thunderstorm during the heat?

Do you shut off the system for cleaning? And the panels will crack if you wash them while they are hot?
