To be fair they are so advanced these days they can make them to look what ever you want them to look like. Personally I like everything blacked out, black wheels, black car, black signage. That’s why there are different choices as we are all different.

Delivery dates are usually shortly after the ship had cleared the Suez Canal. That’s my experience over 3 separate deliveries in the past

Depending on where you are collecting from.usually between 2-10 days.

They usually notify by text in blocks. You will know when,as the forum goes mad with people saying they have been matched. That’s when you feel you are getting close !

On my first order I got a text confirming I’ve.been matched and a VIN number was provided 3 days after the ship left. 2nd order was 10 days after the ship had sailed

Sorry if this sounds a daft question. Are you going on line to view ( Google search ) or are you viewing through the Tesla app ? If you viewing on the Tesla app it should refresh within a couple of seconds and give you the EDD.

No VIN number get issued untill The ship leaves port.

Tesla will get in touch with you ref payment, which is usually shortly after they say you have been matched and send you a vin and you say you want to accept delivery still. Mine has varied between 3 and 2 weeks prior to agreed delivery date

My previous 2 orders I received the text stating I’ve been matched to a car and they provide you with the VIN. One was 7 days after the ship sailed and the other was 10 days.

I’ve never known anyone get a vin before the ship has sailed unless they are changing their routine !!!

On my last 2 orders I collected 1 car 3 days after the ship arrived at Southampton and the other one 4 days after. I collected both cars from Bluewater

Yeah you can get it on eBay that matches the colour of these wheels. The problem is with the design, as there is zero protection on the tyre wall for the wheels like most cars have.

I’ve got those wheels on my model 3 performance. You need to be so careful as they mark so easily. I’ve never damaged a wheel in years of driving but since I’ve had the performance I’ve done it 3 times. It’s a common complaint amongst turbine wheel owners. So frustrating as they do look good
