No you have to remove the panel on the side of the console. I will saying is easy if you have a trim pullers rid you don’t. Just pull straight back and pull quickly so no clips break. The only other way to access it (according to SC) is from the front on a lift with the frunk removed.

Funny. After the SC replaced temperature sensors on my car I noticed the funky smell when it rains. I also have noticed less condensation on the ground running AC. Should I assume that the drain is incorrect after their service or is it not always dripping?

You should be able to stick some felt tape in between the metal and plastic. I have had success calling mobile service for door trims falling off and asking them to take care of rattles.

It is 100% the seats. The SC greased the posts and put a spacer to separate the passenger side and the 60% driver side. When fully up it didn’t really help. I have found that reclining the seats to the first notch made a huge difference. I tried the sponges (mentioned above). but they didn’t...

I pull it around the side of the seat a little so it doesn’t rattle. May this be the only rattle you have. The rear seat one is a bitch for them to fix.

I snapped a quick photo today but had to run in the office. The bar is behind this cushion in the middle seat and you pull from the top part. I did recline the driver’s side just a hair and it nearly eliminated the rattle. Will try with both seats close to the same one day to see how it is.

Keep me posted as well. Luckily for now I I can recline the seats to mitigate the sound. Also the middle seat bottom can be pulled from the top slightly. There is a metal bar in there that can rattle. Tech showed me and warned not to pull to far or it will break.

Funny you posted. Mine came back and had mobile service here for something else. Guy was a champ trying to not sit in the back seat and heard the rattle coming from those spots. I mentioned the foam and he said to try and let the service center fix it as the foam could void the warranty but...

Went to the SC for a nail in my tire and mentioned the rattle. The kept it for the day and said nine was the headrests. Only heard it once after so maybe it helped? Who knows. It was less though. Time will tell. Regardless I have the sponges!

I think I have the same thing on my seat backs as they seem loose. My rattle goes away when I recline the seat. Any advice on how to get these to stay in place? I am trying to get them in with no success.

Good question though most importantly is the quality of the work and integrity of the installer. I went to an Xpel certified premier installer and they did a poor job. I would find a car they did, in person or in their shop, and inspect it. Mine did. It have any in for PPF at the time, only wraps.

For me it seems the passenger side is worse. Though changing the angle might eliminate what is being reported on the buckles. I have had the courage to pull my seats yet as reclining solves it somewhat.
