265 tires on rear (10"/9.5") rims?

Has anyone tried running 265 width tires on the rear rims, as a first step towards running a square / 265-all-around winter setup? I was thinking of taking an older set of 20" wheels that need new tires, but putting 265/45/20 tires all around, and eventually replacing the 10" (or 9.5") rear...

    Yakimo EXO experience?

I know there's a thread for this system in the Y channel, but thought I'd start one for X since the cars are at least a little different. Exo Anyone care to share their experience with Yakimo EXO? It does seem like it's built more for larger vehicles with higher hitch weight limits. Base...

WTB older Model X, 6 or 7 seat, with cold weather and tow packages (New England)

Looking to upgrade our old van to something newer and more fuel efficient. I have a 2016.5 S, and we want to get an X to replace the other vehicles. Mostly looking for a '16-'18 MX with higher miles (read: cheaper) and cold weather and tow packages included. Less concerned about scratches...

FS: Model S 21" gloss black turbine wheels, like new, Boston area, w/ TPMS and almost new tires (2012-2020)

My new-to-me 2016.5 MS came with freshly powder coated gloss black 21" turbine wheels. The tires are pretty new (I can measure the depth for those interested) and the wheels are like new because they have only been driven a handful of miles on the wheels before I swapped them for some winter...

Model S frunk liner wanted (all weather / waterproof liner)

After getting the frunk liner a bit wet once, and it taking awhile to dry out, I'm interested in buying a used model S (2016-2020) frunk all weather liner. Can pick up in New England or willing to ship.

WTB: MS 19" cyclone wheels (or other 19" winter or summer MS wheels)

I'm taking delivery of a 2017 90D MS with 21" grey wheels soon, and know that I want to switch them out for 19". Willing to buy the 19" or possibly swap them. I think I like the cyclone the best (2016ish wheels?) but open to others. Located in Boston area of New England. Thanks!

2016/2017 MS P100D, red, original owner, FUSC, DC area, FSD, 97k miles, $65k

TESLA Model S, P100D, 2017 - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... I talked to the owner of this car recently. I thought I'd post it here for him since I'm not sure how many folks are looking at craigslist, and in this market I'm surprised it didn't sell immediately. For someone who is looking...

Dumb question - can 2016-17 MS P100D use 19" tires? Sticker only mentions 21" tires for max weight

The sticker on a 2016.5 MS P100D I'm looking at only mentions 21" tires on the VIN and "Tire and loading information" stickers. Maybe this is a dumb question, but can I safely put 19" winter tires on this car and then load it up with passengers, etc, up to the GVWR (5996 lbs)? Or are 21" tires...

WTB: Model S Figured Ash trim (or other lighter wood) for 2016.5 MS

Looking to replace a dark ash trim with Figured Ash or other wood (no carbon fiber / CF), for a 2016.5 MS. Just a preference for a lighter wood to brighten up the interior a bit. I'm in New England but can pay to ship. Thanks.

Is EPA range for 21" or 19" tires for 2016.5+ performance MS?

In researching different MS versions, I've been unable to find whether the EPA rated range for MS versions are for 19" (assumed for non-performance) or 21". This is really just a question for the performance versions, e.g. a 2017 P100D. I know many are sold with 21's, but is the 315 mile range...

2016.5+ refresh - Rear seat headroom an issue?

I can't seem to find a good thread on rear seat headroom for the 2016.5 model S. I'm in the market and slightly worried that my growing son will one day be 6' and not be comfortable in the back seat. I was planning on buying a 2016.5 or early 2017 MS with the pano sunroof. Does anyone have a...

How much wear/tear on used Ludicrous models (P100DL mainly) due to launches / hard driving?

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but what do folks think about the potential for battery, motor and other (suspension? wiring?) degradation due to a previous owner using Ludicrous or Ludicrous+ mode a lot? I couldn't easily find too much info by searching the existing threads. I'm seeing...

How to display rated range at 100% without charging to 100%?

Is there an easy way, without charging to 100%, to display the 100% rated or ideal range? I'm asking because I don't want to ask dealers to charge to 100%, and some dealers don't know the UI menus at all. Is it just a matter of changing to % display, then calculating the range at 100%? I saw...
