Has anyone tried running 265 width tires on the rear rims, as a first step towards running a square / 265-all-around winter setup?
I was thinking of taking an older set of 20" wheels that need new tires, but putting 265/45/20 tires all around, and eventually replacing the 10" (or 9.5") rear rims with 9" so that they can be rotated. Seems like it's cheaper to buy used rims than new tires now.
I would think 265 would fit ok on 10"/9.5" rims but not sure.
