I think this might have solved the problem. Changing the sentry mode setting in the car rather than on the app seems to be the way forward. On the app it's not permanent but it seems like it is if you change it in the car. Thank you.

I Thanks for the reply, I think you might be right. I'll try 'priority bluetooth' but I guess it's the same problem as we have to change it each time one of us is driving. I was hoping it might be a bit more intuitive than this but maybe they can fix it.
