Right. Well there is still a higher spike at the very beginning of me driving the car than anywhere else during the same trip, even in stop/go traffic. So I'm wondering why there is a large spike at startup?

Yes, the subpanel is directly in front of my car in the garage. Would it be as simple as unwiring that particular outlet from the breaker and just adding a new breaker for just that outlet?

I'm 199xxx and got my VIN almost 3 weeks ago, no delivery yet. I think they are caught back up with production and deliveries and there is more of a gap now between VIN assignment and delivery.

Not that I know of. It's a 3% tax. From what I understand, if i bring cash to the deal, the entire price of the car is taxed. If I bring a trade, the price minus the trade is taxed.
