I had issues with my Ubiquiti access points. It turned out the problem was I had band steering on. Once I turned that off it has been rock solid. It was disconnecting the Powerwalls to get them to connect to the 5ghz network, but the Powerwalls can’t.

What they did for our system is removed all loads from our 200 amp panel with meter base. All they left in that panel was the disconnect and a 200 amp breaker at the bottom that goes to the gateway. Then they put in a new panel fed exclusively by the gateway and moved our existing loads to it...

I have not had any problems. The leak we had was caused by the holes they used to mount the safety harness to. When they out in the metal piece to seal it up, it was not lined up just right. They fixed it very quickly!

I think they are using slight changes to the frequency. That is why it would only work off-grid. On-grid the frequency is controlled by the grid. Just a guess. If they were using power line communications then it should also be able to work while on the grid.

I think what everyone is saying is that even if you were on battery the surge still would have gone through. So it would not have made a difference. If you manually threw your main disconnect and therefore the grid connection was severed, sure. Otherwise the powerwalls are line interactive just...

Tesla fixed it for me by replacing the wiring harness. It is a free recall on the vehicles.

There are filter cartridges that screw onto your hose. They’re for rinsing cars. Wonder if those would work for solar panel cleaning with hard water?

That is not the case. I can’t access my firewall by name that matches the name on its self-signed cert. I guess the cert just needs to be trusted on the device. I could go through the trouble of doing that, but I’m just going to use Chrome.

Private relay is turned off on my device. I think maybe it will work if I can add a dns entry locally so I can match one of the SAN entries on the cert. Maybe it just will not work by IP. That said, chrome works fine like @zanary suggested.
