    10.3.1 rolling out

Plenty of others have said the same but I may as well post as another data point. I did downgrade to .1 yesterday. .3 has finished downloading over LTE but I think I'll wait until others say its good or I get home from work to install. EDIT - no email here, but I didn't receive one for .2 either

I mean, sort of. It's almost like they fixed a bug but added more of the same, just in other situations.

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

I'm currently installing the rolled back version (.1) The way I see it, they wouldn't pull it from everyone including the original testers if they didn't have a legitimate reason to. I did take 10.3 on a drive to go pick up some lunch earlier. I only had a chance to try out the "normal" setting...

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

Yesterday on my way to work I had *horrible* phantom braking for seemingly no reason. Ended up manually taking over for the rest of the drive. While at work I got to thinking that it had been a few weeks since I've been to the car wash. Sure enough my right B pillar camera was filthy. I went...

Yes as oncoming traffic approaches it slides over slightly. It seems like it does more so on narrower 2 lane roads

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

I bought it with the expectation of getting what was already available + AP on city streets once it became available. If they continue to polish what is currently FSD beta but I never got anything beyond, I’d be okay with that. Anything I get beyond AP on city streets I’ll consider a plus.

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

I guess it depends on if the rolling car broke any traffic laws :p Slightly more seriously, the software is actively controlling the speed and direction of the vehicle. Until you take control of the steering, throttle/brake, or both. The car is by definition driving. I won't lie, yesterday I...

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

To be clear, I'm supervising the vehicles actions at all times and am ready to take over if needed. But if there is a trip where if I don't have to disengage or help it in any way with the accelerator, the car is driving itself. I'm not going to entirely disagree with this. What you've stated...

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

Do you just hate having fun or.....? I don't see what's wrong with it being entertaining to me while at the same time doing what it's supposed to. My car drove me to work this morning and didn't hit anything or anyone. 2 days ago it couldn't do that. I'd call that game changing.

Me and a friend have joked about this for a few months now after seeing someone try that in a video. It'd be hilarious if you engage it with no destination it auto-navigates back to the Fremont factory 😂

    Safety Score

I think this happened to me too. My entire commute this morning was FSD beta/NOA with 1 intervention at a stop sign when no one was around but I got a ding for unsafe following distance this morning. Not terribly concerned about it at this point, but as long as the score still shows up in my...

Same here. 50 miles on the day so far with a daily score of 100. 20 miles of that was highway NOA and id say 95% of the other 30 miles was using beta.

Huh, interesting. I haven't been around much traffic yet. That description I gave was how one of the early testers described it in a video.

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

Cars crossing perpendicular to you at an intersection are blue. I don't know if this is the best way to describe it but blue cars are cross traffic that has the right of way.

So, turning off the beta will make AP "work" the same as before. The difference is that AP/NOA is vision only even when you turn off FSD Beta.

    Elon: FSD Beta tweets

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last thing I remember elon saying about single stack was something along the lines of "v10 maybe, v11 definitely" That's also a huge change and I cant imagine it ever being added in a "point" release.

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

I’ve got an alarm set 1 hour early in the morning. Gonna wake up, start the install if it’s there. Go back to sleep for an hour so it’ll be ready by the time I’m ready to head to work. Or if it’s not there I’ll just go back to bed and be sad on my drive to work.

    Elon: FSD Beta tweets

Go over to r/Tesla and r/TeslaLounge on reddit. If you look at their posts, it's "literally impossible to get 100". It wouldn't surprise me that the regulars in the autopilot/AV section of the Tesla forums would make up a considerable percentage of the 100's.

    Elon: FSD Beta tweets

Something like that, maybe low 2000's? I know they added testers in the 10.0.1 release because one of the guys in the local owners group got in. And I saw a few people posting on twitter about getting added.

I think you're good on the 20-40k number but I think the number of 100's is probably lower than 10%. I could believe 10-15% each with 99's and 98's then a taper down from there. If I had to bet on it, I'd say 25-33% of the total group of button pushers is under 90% This is just a guess based...

So, going down my driveway, I put the car in neutral (no regen) and use the brake pedal. It's a dirt/gravel driveway and if I go down it with regen it causes the rear wheels to slip, so I just avoid it entirely. Poll: What is your safety score at end of day, September 29th?

Poll: What is your safety score at end of day, September 29th?

Got a 99 for the day as as well as a 99 overall. There’s basically no way for me to average to 100 by Saturday unless I take 150 to 200 mile road trip on Friday and make sure I get 100 on Thursday and Friday. Oh well, guess I’m going to focus on staying at a 99 and I’ll be in the second wave of...

I'm in a similar situation at .5% on hard breaking. 98 on day 1 - .8 hard breaking 99 on day 2 - .3 hard breaking 100 on day 3 100 today. all with similar mileage each day. 40-50 miles each. 100's for the next 3 days would average me back up to 99.6 which should round to 100.

    OFFICIAL BUTTON WATCH

Pretty sure each day is graded separately, then the days are averaged together with a weighting on the mileage for each day. Ex. If day 1 you got a score of 56 but only drove 4 miles, that would be a lot easier to bring back up than if you got a 56 but drove 400 miles.

It depends on how you read the tweets. There is a possibility they'll still start adding people October 1st with 10.1 or a 10.1.1 (not a thing but I wouldn't totally rule it out). FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

I get the argument you're making here, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions about the safety evaluation. None of us have any idea how each of the categories are weighted or what the minimum bar for entry is.
