I pre-ordered the carbon fiber...but heard they cancelled it. Unfortunate.

    Canadian Stores and Service Centers

I have had similar problems...I called in July to have a service appointment for end of September (the earliest). The service levels definitely not the same. I had requested a loaner (drop off car the day before) and they said "ok". I got there, and there was no loaner and one of the Service...

Pan Am Games HOV lane issues with the Tesla Model S

Glad I saw this thread. I went down DVP this morning and a police officer shook his head. I rolled down my window and said, I believe Green Plates are allowed :). He left me alone....phew! He looked confused as well though....so not all officers know the official rule.

    Drive Unit Problem / Fixes

I had a clunking noise and the SC was nice enough to replace my drive unit and now it is very quiet. They initially didn't replace anything; SC tightened some bolts and other things....but didn't really fix the issue. Then they offer to replace the drive train...it's great now.

    Toronto to Casino Rama (Orillia)

In summary...made it there and back (I live in Markham)....had about 110 km to spare. Drove conservative there - roughly 110 km and when I came back...went about 115 -120 km. Warmer weather does make a significant difference. e4

    Electricity Bill - Ontario

Hello all, long story short, I've been fairly busy these last few weeks. Haven't really done anything. I will probably wait for the next bill to see if the warmer temp makes a difference. I know there are many factors that affect the charge, cold weather being one of them. If I average the...

    Electricity Bill - Ontario

Funny thing is, if I compare exactly a year ago (Bill cycle), it has been dramatically more. I just got an ear full from my wife about the cost :P....so any insight for those that live in the Markham/Toronto area would be greatly appreciated as well. As a side note - I just changed my furnace...

    Electricity Bill - Ontario

In short - Yes. My usually electricity bill before the care was about $300-330 (billed every 2 months). After the car, I receive 2 bills since and they have been $550 and recently $630. I don't have the bill on me. Should I get someone from Powersteam to check?

    Electricity Bill - Ontario

Hello all, I've had my car for roughly 5 months now and received my Electricity Bill from Powerstream. So far my bill has increased roughly $125-150/month (since we receive our electricity bill every 2 months). What has others seen? I know there are a lot of factors, such as temperature and...

    Center Console

Hello Canadians, Wanted a more Canadian focus conversation on this topic, since it appears that people in the US have been receiving and installing the center console module. Has anyone received a call? Has any of you had it installed yet? Thanks, E4.

    Model S Insurance in Canada

I have TD and your quote seems high. Not sure your age as well. I am paying ~$1200 a year for the Tesla Model S. And $1300 for the Porsche Cayenne S. Also with House discounts. Live in Markham area as well.

    Global Map of Teslas

Doesn't google use their Android phones out in the marketplace to determine traffic congestion? Similar - I don't think it's a wild thought that Tesla wouldn't have the ability to track every Tesla automobiles - considering they own the wireless connections. - - - Updated - - - Nice map!

    Global Map of Teslas

Hello all, Not sure if someone posted this....but had a thought. Since all our cars have 3G connectivity, do you think Elon has a global map that show's all the cars in the world? I think that would be cool. You can track every single Tesla in the world. Just a thought....figure we must have...

    Missed Connections....My Model S story

Personal opinion....but I think you will love the P85 or the P85+....myself coming from Porsche lineage, enjoy the stiffer suspension, performance at your beacon call.....So, I think it's worth the money to go for the P85 or the +....you won't regret the performance the the Tesla "grinn" when...

    Electrician recommendations uptown toronto

Joe the owner of JML did a great job for me. I believe he is the recommended installer for Tesla. Very fast and knowledgeable - and one thing I look for is - "did he do this before" - because I believe there are certain things you look for when installing HPWC (dip switches, etc.). He is...

    Strange Color on Charge Port

Kudos to the Toronto East Service Center! The Service Manager sent me an e-mail to follow up on the post here. Where else would I get such service! Never expected it, but feel that I've been heard and assured that there is nothing to worry about and that it will be taken care of, when I call...

My Stealth Pacific Blue Model S

What a difference a wrap makes on the car. Not only transforms the look of the car, but protects the car as well. I guess if you don't like it in a few years, you can always rip it off ;) Nice job guys. Wish I can get this done in Toronto (Canada). P.S. Nice calipers :)

    19" Turbine Wheel Solution

This is where I get confused. All the stickers on the doors say 38/40 psi, but on the forums, it recommends 45 psi. So, which should it be?

    Service Plans etc. (Canada)

Another quick question....I read or heard somewhere, that if you get the Prepaid service plan, it includes brake pad and rotor replacement? Is this true? Does the pay as you go service include that? Happy Holidays!

GTA - Freezing Rain Wow...what a day today. Last night, there was a power outage...thinking that we'd get power up and running in the morning I wasn't sweating...until I woke up this morning and there was still no power. My ICE was in the garage...couldn't open the garage door manually...

P85 is in my opinion, a total waste of money compared to the regular 85 kw version!

I think we scared 'Grey on grey' :p.... He hasn't come back!

    Service Plans etc. (Canada)

So, if I hear correctly, it doesn't appear to be any difference if I go pay per service vs. prepay. The only advantage would be, that it will protect me from any price increases. Did I miss anything?

P85 is in my opinion, a total waste of money compared to the regular 85 kw version!

The funny thing is - 'grey on grey' makes a bold statement....and he is nowhere to be found. Stirring the pot ;)....but IMHO...people have options...whether they choose to exercise them, is up to them. I am sure if you ask anyone with a P85+...they would say, "no brainier"...but you also have...

    Service Plans etc. (Canada)

Wow, so it appears that a lot of people have gotten the service plan. I guess it's not like conventional ICE service where, if something is wrong, service will look at it under warranty. They charge labour and diagnostic for each visit. Hmm...I have 10 days to make a decision....makes me...

    Service Plans etc. (Canada)

I am on the fence of whether to get a 4 year service plan. Understanding that it will cost me $650/year or 20,000km....is it really worth it? I have never been the type to pre-pay or purchase extended warranty. Has everyone here purchased the 4 year plan or more? If so why? I was talking to...

    Firmware 5.8

How long did it take for an update? This is my first update, but it appears to be frozen? I tried to reboot with the two steering wheel - wheel buttons held...but no response. How else can you get out of the update screen? Is there another way to reboot? Thanks.
