On my 2021 MY, I only got 18,000 miles out of my ordinal OEM tires :-( And I'm gentle driver. I'm gathering tire data from this forum for the next replacement. I'm also interested in a better (softer) ride. I wonder if going from 19" to 18" wheels with more tire side wall might help the ride.?

I have a 2021 MY LR. We just wen on a 5 week vacation. I put the car on charge and set the charge limit to 50%. I was surprised when we returned yesterday and the charge level was 46%. Is it normal for it to drop this much below set point?

For tire repair in an emergency, how about the repair kit from Tesla that pumps something into your tire to get you to a place you can replace the tire? I believe using this kit ruins the tire so... The kit is $70 on the Tesla shop site. Here's a link...

I have noticed the last couple times that the car didn't precondition when using a scheduled preconditioning. It has worked in the past. I did set up the scheduled preconditioning about 45 minutes before desired time. Does it take longer than that? Temp around 40F.

I have a 2021 Model Y. About 6 to 9 months ago I notice the "leather" starting to peel at the bottom of the wheel where it is seamed together. Now the leather has peeled to about a 1/2" spot. I assume this isn't warranty, right? Anybody have an idea on how to arrest the peeling? bob

The Model Y manual says I should use a ball hitch that has a 3/4" rise and is 8.5" from shank hole to pin hole. Where do you get something like this? U-haul has a ball hitch with a 1" rise and 10" from shank to pin - is that OK? Bob
