    HPWC failure

I'm with you. Searched "HPWC dead" and found this. My vintage 2013 HPWC just failed and had the same situation. I have pushed the reset button and cycled the breaker several times, but no joy. No lights, green or otherwise. I popped the HPWC cover and verified that the unit is getting power...

How many people are taking delivery of their Model X in March?

Pick up appointment in Van Nuys a week from today, Marcy 19. That was for our convenience. Could have been as early at March 17. Vin 0007XX

Really nice pics!! Thanks for the update. Looks like a nice facility.

Harris Ranch is getting first battery swap station

Cost of the service is $80 for the two swaps (i.e., $40 per swap), paid up front at the time of the first one. I asked, and Mark, the guy in charge of the swap prototype says that Storage SOC is full charge, but it is usually just for a few days which they say does not impact the longevity of...

Harris Ranch is getting first battery swap station

FWIW, did my first swap over last weekend when we drove to SF for a wedding. Didn't need the time savings, just curious as to how it works. Same experience as the others on this thread. Call to set up both appointments, first swap takes longer (about 8 1/2 minutes over the pit), second swap...

Excellent ongoing G2, markb1. Thanks so much for your on-site intelligence!! You are the eyes and ears for us all.

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

Report from today's trip - just as it was in the pictures. Supercharger tantalizingly "ready" to be turned on but the lot still a construction zone.

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

Dang. I have a day trip to the Sorrento Valley/Mesa area (visiting Qualcomm) tomorrow and was hoping for a miracle. Sigh. I'll be patient with the SJC situation as always, and of course stop by the Qualcomm site to see for myself. If there's anything interesting I'll take some ground-level...

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

Kudos Mark and Randy for keeping us up to date, and putting perspective around our tendency to blame things on the utility. Not this time. Well done, Supercharger Team and well done SDG&E!!

    Supercharger - Manteca, CA - Perimeter Drive (LIVE 12 Feb 2015, expanded 12 Dec 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

Perfect timing! We are in SF tonight, having driven in from LA today. Up to Chico for the weekend and driving home down the I-5 on Sunday. The Manteca Supercharger of course takes any stress out of the long leg between Roseville and Harris Ranch. Doing the dance of joy... Thanks folks for...

    Supercharger - Manteca, CA - Perimeter Drive (LIVE 12 Feb 2015, expanded 12 Dec 2017, 20 V2 stalls)

Thanks so much for the updates. Very helpful, especially as I plan our mid-Feb trip from LA to Chico. Would be nice to avoid the Gilroy jog through traffic-land. But certainly not planning on that. PG&E and all . . .

Supercharger - El Centro, CA (8 V2 stalls)

Found it. Thanks. Very helpful. I'll look there from now on.

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (LIVE, 36 V3 + 8 V2 + 2 Urban stalls)

Gotta be the SoCal/NorCal thing. I got emails about SJC, Oxnard and Indio, but nothing about Vacaville,Truckee, Corning and points north . . . I'm in LA area.

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (LIVE, 36 V3 + 8 V2 + 2 Urban stalls)

Looks like our Oct 11 trip to Scottsdale is on!! Woot!! (Hope I didn't just jinx it . . . )

Supercharger - San Juan Capistrano, CA (7 V2 stalls)

Wow. I have had such a much better, actually wonderful experience, to wit: I am delighted to report that I had my first Supercharger experience since picking Sparky up last Dec 19. And it was at San Juan Capistrano. I was doing my periodic day trip to SD from LA, and stopped to take a sip on...

Supercharger - San Juan Capistrano, CA (7 V2 stalls)

Wow - according to a thread in the Tesla Motors Forums, SJC is already the third busiest Supercharger (as measured by energy delivered). Very consistent with the "lots of cars here" comments. So glad this level of activity hasn't caused a real jam at the site. Many thanks.
  24. B

Supercharger - San Juan Capistrano, CA (7 V2 stalls)

How is the volume at SJC? Still pretty swamped, less during the week or certain times of day? I'm planning my periodic day trip from LA to SD and trying to plan how much extra time to allow for the recharge. . . Thanks, all. This has been the most informative thread!!

Supercharger - Oxnard, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 total)

Yeah, preferably with pictures, but we'll take anything we can get.
  26. B

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (LIVE, 36 V3 + 8 V2 + 2 Urban stalls)

Anyone been to the construction site in the last few days? Progress? Pictures?
  27. B

Any more reports on activity during the week?
  28. B

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (LIVE, 36 V3 + 8 V2 + 2 Urban stalls)

Would indeed be great. Maybe take some pressure off the other routes, like Barstow.
  29. B

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (LIVE, 36 V3 + 8 V2 + 2 Urban stalls)

Probably. I don't see any other red dots in that area on Tesla's supercharger map.
  30. B

    Supercharger - Indio, CA (LIVE, 36 V3 + 8 V2 + 2 Urban stalls)

Can't wait!! But we have to . . . hoping for a smoother process than at SJC. Just in time for a summer-time trip across the desert!! :-)

Supercharger - San Juan Capistrano, CA (7 V2 stalls)

From the TM Co. Forum threads, sounds like this Supercharger was mobbed yesterday. One owner reported that at 5:15pm-ish all seven stalls were full, with 6 cars waiting, and three more which showed up and left. Let's hope it was the first-weekend novelty and special occasion of this long-needed...

Wonderful news. Doing the dance of joy here in Studio City. So glad to be able to do my SD day-trips!! Randy and Fred, congratulations on being #s 1 and 2. What a beautiful picture of two cars chugging from an electron firehose. Randy, you have been our voice of reality and sanity on this...

Tesla Motors Company Forum Now Moderated

To be clear, these TMC forums are indeed moderated and have been, thank goodness. J.T.'s thread is about the new, as of last night, moderation of the Tesla Motors Forums. At this point, only newly created threads are getting through. I assume/hope that there is some restructuring going on and...

Tesla Motors Company Forum Now Moderated

Yeah, I bumped your "New to the Forums?" thread last night and it hasn't shown up yet. In fact, other than a couple of new threads with no replies, there has been nothing. Will be interesting to see how this evolves.

Supercharger - San Juan Capistrano, CA (7 V2 stalls)

Thanks, folks. That will be my plan. Moderate speeds range charge, range mode, cruise Ctl, et. Then recharge a bit at Tesla San Diego Service Center's HPWCs and enjoy the ride.

Supercharger - San Juan Capistrano, CA (7 V2 stalls)

Yup, high class problems. I have a day trip from LA to the Miramar area next week, too. Looks like drive-like-an-old-man and get a few sips from the HPWC farm at SDSC for me!! Like all of us, I can't wait for SJC. But I have to . . .
