If you fine with Cashier's check & the loan check (if financing), that might be a better option. Just drop them and get the car.

I had the check a week or so before delivery (didn't anticipate to get it that quick), but sat on it. Didn't want to give it in advance & deal with any issues later on.

It is a gift from the previous owner to the new owner :)

Exactly, I had 4 or 5 checklists, installed the InspectT app in my phone, but didnt use anything - just eyeballed the car. I guess too much information, excitement, hectic work contributed as well to me not doing anything :)

I also noticed that settings say the car has Full Self Drive Computer or something similar (not near the car), & I dont have FSD purchased. I also have the Full Self Drive Preview option. Any non-FSD new owners have similar settings? If so, any idea how long it will last?

YMMV I had the same doubt and went to the SC and talked with my SA - he told he can put it on hold, and he was really certain, I will get another one by Dec even I release the hold by Nov end. It seems I will not go back to the end of the line. I just decided to go ahead with the delivery...

This is interesting. I went to SC on Sunday and they were able to see where my car was on the travel. The SAs have access to that info - I saw their screen as well. The person (not my SA) actually scheduled my delivery time as I had issues to select a time. Maybe try a different SC. Good Luck.

After some drama, finally scheduled the delivery date - Nov 6th. Had to work with the SA to get it scheduled.

I just got the approval from DCU and signed the docs and so on. In one of the docs, they say to send the insurance info (with DCU listed as loss payee) . Have not sent it yet. Hopefully you get it sorted out as I will be in the same situation.

I think Tesla is doing the EDD changes on purpose to teach patience, after all we need patience when driving on the roads, especially with Tesla :)

My EDD changed from Oct 22-Nov 12th to Nov 1st to 15th. I guess based on other posts, this might be good sign (taking positives and all that). When I visited the SC, my SA showed the soft match date as Nov 6th, so I think the date range look reasonable. The next few weeks is going to be weird.

Better yet, they can put it on other people's dashboard (like user firecap refreshed 10000000000000 times from the OD) or just display on the other peoples refresh screen (you are in 1000000000000th position or something like that) :)

Man, you made me frantically refreshing my edd page, I am one day after your OD and SC is Tysons. Ah well, some day soon.
