After seeing dtrounce's success I got the module from Tesla yesterday and installed this morning.. and can also say it was successful!

i havent gotten the update yet so i can't try yet... but i've read that people w/the 21 refresh can't get the pair bluetooth headphones to work for the rear.

that is not matrix enabled. that's just matrix animations it looks like they hardcoded... but i could be wrong. but it's not even enabled by Tesla for the cars with matrix yet either I believe. by 'matrix enabled', i. mean for it to automatically adjust the headlight by incoming traffic.

from the description it looks like they take an OEM headlight modify to fit the matrix stuff. i assume they just drop in the matrix components, so it'd just be the better/brighter light and pattern, but cant run any matrix stuff or pivot while you turn, since that's controlled by software?

i have a blackvues and so far we have been lucky... no issues. but if you ever watch whaambaam on youtube, they have great dashcam recommendations and super affordable compared to blackvue! we got the one they recommended for our 'beater' commuter..like < $100 and it's been working great and...

with these price drops it should be free... haha i'd be interested depending on the price. im sure we can get better pads for the same if not cheaper... but if they price and/or bundle them right, could be a good deal

mine used to do that a lot.. i'd have to just format the SD card after a reboot. however in the past few months, it seems to resolve itself on it's own... after a reboot it'd show the X..but after a few minutes it cleared up and works normally.

i tried sending a DM to ask how to set it to always have immediate response, as the shorter battery life is fine w/me. i didn't see it listed on their website so I want to find out how to set it be instant response before I purchase a set.

yeah you have to change it using the left steering wheel button. it also sucks that it seems to default to the lowest res every time i use the app after awhile.... and youtube shorts are still zoomed in and there's no way to change the resolution for the shorts... which sucks since thats what...

while this fixed the main youtube video resolution issues, i'm still having trouble watching the "Shorts" in the youtube app. it just zooms in to fill in widescreen vs playing it in the native portrait orientation... has anyone found a fix for this?

The left scroll worked for me on YouTube vids.. but the YouTube shorts are still zoomed in trying to play in landscape vs portrait.

Do you have a seat belt buckled in? My buckled in booster seats seem to turn on the rear screen AND music speakers whenever the car wakes up either thru the app, when my phone comes nearby, or when scheduled charging starts. It's really annoying and I don't know how to submit anything to Tesla...

my installer said it's hit/miss... sometimes he has clients that it doesnt work well with the ppf, and some work fine. mine didnt work fine... so they cut it out around my sensors.

I forgot to mention... I only use a pair of Jackpoints. When I lift up 1 side high enough to slide the Jackpoint stand, I just use a regular 2ton jackstand for the other front/rear. Then I use my other Jackpoint to lift up the other side of the car and do the same.
