Not necessarily. I have planned and renewed trade in offers numerous times as I wait with changing EDDs. Always done via the app, including prompts to upload photos etc. Sometimes I get texts from my SA to prompt me with updates/steps.

I’m with you. Essentially the same order date and my ED window arrived (again) today. Expecting date to push out tomorrow (on day 2 of EDD) as it has five times already. No preference in Battle of Alberta, though Edmonton’s uniforms are better.

I sure hope you’re right. I’ve observed the same thing, that VINs can come at the last minute but being presumably close but with no VIN…frustrating/agonizing…

As predicted, new window this morning (May 17-31). What a joke—don’t know why Tesla gives estimates (16 changed EDD windows now for me…) if they never stick. At least it only moved out one week this time. Still no VIN.

On my fourth arrival of delivery window, I actually received my first communication ever from a SA yesterday…to prepare for delivery. EDD then shrunk to May 11-24. Maybe this is actually it?!

Agree. I’ve had 14 EDD changes and have had a 2 week and even 1 week delivery window arrive three times now, only to be reset again later. Still no VIN either and no hidden VIN in the source code. No one really knows anything….

I’ve tried repeatedly to find a VIN with the “5YJ” search and nothing so far. I feel unnerved that seemingly everyone in my OD range at least has a VIN and I have…15 EDD changes, including having my delivery window arrive three times already, prior to later date resets.

Any more instructions on finding VIN? I tried repeatedly to look in the source code and can’t find anything. Based on my OD and others’ activity, I’m starting to wonder why I don’t have a VIN.

At last, after seven months of waiting, I have figured it out. The reason I haven’t received my VIN or Tesla yet is because it’s a conspiracy by aftermarket vendors to get me to purchase more and more accessories while I am waiting… How could I not have seen this before now?!

Keep us updated. If you get a VIN, I might too since my order is so similar…

A ton of VINS being assigned in the last few days to orders later than mine (similar specs, no FSD etc). At nearly 7 months, 14 EDD changes and counting and still with no VIN, I’m getting pretty tired of this…

Ditto. I just entered my 4 week window (for the fourth time…) and then got pushed 2 weeks out into a 2 week window. OD Oct 5. Currently EDD May 3-17. I’d be excited but this has happened before, only to get another (and another…) reset/delay.

No predicting still. I’ve had my window shrink to 2 weeks three times, including recently. Currently it’s a 4 week window (Apr 20-May 18). With 12 EDD changes so far (OD Oct 5), I don’t buy into predictions or estimates any more.

Today I’ve arrived for the FOURTH time at the beginning of a delivery window (currently Apr18-May20) for my MYLR white/white/19/tow. OD was October 5. As with the previous 3 times, I expect no communication and for my EDD just to reset now to some future date range. Ugh.

I got that yesterday too — changing from Apr 7-21 to Apr 20–May 22.
