I remotely stopped and started charging. It went back to 16/16 245V. I can look at the car when I get home, but does this seem more my outlet/breaker, the car, or both? For reference it is a 2022 with almost 20k miles.

So I noticed a tote had pressed up against the charger port and it seemed slightly ajar. Reset breaker and ensured fully plugged in. Now pulling 32/32 with 243v so far. Edit: About 20 minutes later and down to 16/16 244V. Images attached.

I’ll try to supercharge and take pics of that and what happens tonight. It is odd that it was 32/32 before bed, 7/32 when I woke up and then let me go up to 16/16.

So it does work! My error, I think, was having the partition labeled TeslaDrive rather than TESLADRIVE.

Has anyone gotten this to work in a M3LR with just the single glovebox usb. I tried the partitioning in post 2 and nada. It does recognize the usb and will also recognize multiple partitions, so not sure where I am going wrong if it is even possible at this point.

I think my M3LR was at least 80%, probably closer to 90% since they really don't want you to go all the way unless for long trips.

So follow-up with resolution. Service center said loose upper control arm bolt and they retorqued it to spec. Wife said noise gone.

So after having done the steps again and then doing a pretty quick acceleration up to 75ish, the noise is now gone again. Not sure if it just temporarily dislodges whatever is stuck, or if it crushes into little pieces that eventually fall out.

So would that be from the rear-ending or just a luck of the draw? I guess my question now becomes will Tesla fix under warranty or want the shop to fix? I just want it safe to drive and the noise gone…

Yeah the sound didn’t come on until 1-2 weeks or so after the accident, and was pretty minor. And then for it to go away and now back again. We will see what the service center says next week. The shop said they would fix hidden damage so not sure if Tesla would fix or just defer to the shop.

Just perplexing that it came back. No other a Nintendo-like cheat codes I might try?

Latest video from this morning. I was rear ended a month ago with very minimal bumper damage that will also get repaired next month. Not sure if any hidden damage as only like a 1 inch dent and minor scrape.

I still have my service appointment scheduled for next week and will report back. It is odd that it did go away and has come back. So I just wonder if they have to take it off to get whatever it may be out, or if they have to live or tighten anything. Definitely not going to tinker.

Well the sound is back again after about 36 hours. Not sure if the pebble just got repositioned, but the trick above didn’t work this time.

So after trying the instructions for possible pebble in this thread, Metallic Grinding / Scraping noise (known problem) the noise is gone. Who knew a pebble could cause such a noise. So I guess it started with a small pebble getting in between the aero cap and wheel causing the quieter rhythmic...

I only checked the rear. I will try to post a video of the sound as it definitely sounds like the awful grinding on an ICE car.

Thank you all. I am glad I at least have uninsured motorist coverage and they said rates won't go up for non at-fault claim. Deductible still sucks and will try to get depreciation claim to try to offset that.

No. All cars have the FSD capability, it is litterally just checking acknowledgements to activate once you get it. There is nothing different about cars who add it on before or after.

So to answer my own question, when SA called, they did say yes we can cut you a check. It would likely affect tax benefits though, but could be useful info to those where Tesla is highest pretax trade offer or for convenience of just wanting to do everything same day.
