I set the export tariff at 30p during peak time and it did seem to stop the PW charging when there was a glimmer of sun this morning. I have myenergi eddi and Zappi so it diverted to them, but I can easily schedule them to go into stop mode during the Flux peak period.

Out of interest, if you have two PW do they charge at 10kw combined overnight from grid? I haven’t been able to find out anywhere. I only have one but thinking for the future.

How long did you leave it after making the change? I’ve tried testing it and left it for a while today and nothing changed.

TEP to me only seems worth while if you’re producing more solar than you use across the year as you get a better return on export than SEG. Otherwise, just charge up at overnight rate if you’re not forecasting to produce enough solar during day.

Tusker are saying that prior to this they were not charged anything and that it is a Tesla issue. Has anyone had any luck with compensation or extending free period with Telsa. I don’t want to waste hours on hold to be met with a flat no.

Same. Luckily I currently have a skip for those! I’m not sure why they think I’d want Tusker branded floor mats over the original Tesla ones.

I missed the first attempted delivery. Only realised a week later as the note was stuck in the letter box.

But they have sent me a second set of floor mats (model X mats for a model y) number plates and safety kit (including spare bulbs and oil) I never wanted the first one.

I had a circular email from Tusker this afternoon that basically said the user would have to pay £9.99 per month and it will be available in app.

I emailed Tusker. They came back with “you will need to pay yourself to continue with premium connectivity. An email is due to be sent in the next few days to explain”

From the wording of the statement it’s just solar. So does that mean if you’re having solar and batteries installed at once you still pay 5% on the battery and 0% on the solar? There was also an announcement on decarbonisation for businesses which includes solar and batteries.

To me IO is a no brainer at the current price if you don’t already have a fixed tariff as all variable tariffs are going to go up to 30p per kWh from April and then up again from October. With IO you can fix for at 30p peak for a year and then get the benefit of 7.5p off peak.

My MY battery was at 52%, I set Tesla app and IO app to 80% and have been given 4 hour schedule. Car is charging at 7.4-7.5 kWh and estimated to about 30 mins short of reaching 80%. I selected all the right parameters when setting up so it looks like the IO app is underestimating battery size...

I completed my switch to octopus yesterday and setup IO and it successfully charged overnight. How long does it take for the IO tariff to show in the app as I’m currently still on flexible octopus.

How do you get the chart when your car is sleeping? Is this a third party app?

How do you check how long you got if you do have a lease. I haven’t had any emails

I rebooted the car (hold down both scroll wheels on steering wheel) and it connected when it restarted. I don’t think you ever see the car in the web account but the app works fine now and my premium connectivity and eap has been added

And when I log into my Tesla account on the web nothing is showing up (lease car so didn’t have the order) but interestingly my supercharge session does show

Just call normal delivery number and let them know you’ll be late. There’s a queue on the line but you can request a call back after a few minutes of holding.
