I doubt Tesla would let users to utilized the dGPU for free. It is likely to be a paid software upgrade to unlock the dGPU.

My guess is that Tesla do use the same MCU in 3/Y as in S/X. They want part commonality to save cost. However, I think Tesla will limit the performance of the dGPU in 3/Y or disable it completely, because 10 Tflops gaming isn't advertised by Tesla and they won't give it for free.

one-month-long EDD windows don't tell much. They can easily be pushed back multiple times. It is possible that the eventual delivery date is later than 3/31.

I think one should wait for a VIN then start the loan application. For example, DCU requires a VIN to finish the loan. Plus this way you don't need to worry about the initial approval getting expired and having to pull the credit twice in the event of order delay. On Tesla side just choose...

Your EDD looks much more promising as it has narrowed down to a two-week window. Mine has always been 4-week, which means very uncertain.

I have the same EDD range as you do. My EDD briefly went to December last year but soon got back to 1/13 to 2/10. I think there is little movement for west coast orders since the beginning of 2022. Maybe they are indeed focusing on the east coast. I don't expect we can have our VINs any time...
