Unpopular answer I guess, but just don't use the lane assist/adaptive cruise control/autopilot feature. Our VW golf (2019) had the same issue and it did it without those features turned on, we had to demand they take the car back.

Was autopilot or cruise control engaged? So far I've read that people experienced this when using autopilot. I'm probably going to steer clear of it until I see this is fixed as in our previous 2019 golf, this was super dangerous, it would basically emergency break on the motorway every other...

I'm collecting on 2nd march 10am, I have a VIN + reg number, but neither appears in any of my documents in the Tesla account section (e.g. the invoice VIN box is empty), should these update at some point? I guess I probably don't get a "final invoice" as im leasing via Tesla PCP.

FWIW I never looked at pending vin, but searched for "vin": because its this field that populates with the VIN itself. E.g.: "vin":"LRWYHCEK8******" My pending vin is still null and I'm confirmed to collect on 2nd March at 10am.

On the contrary, I'd think it extremely difficult to find a chip that supports 2.4Ghz and not 5Ghz these days, I'd say with pretty good confidence it will support 5Ghz. The model 3 supports both too. Also, FWIW 2.4Ghz will penetrate walls better, so you may have better luck reaching the car on...

No, sorry - I mean the documents section on the right now shows these agreements (lending + pre contract), both of which have an area for date + my signature. Presumably they'll be done onsite at collection.

Yeah been checking every few days and today I was in another tab and the VIN located plugin dinged and said it was there and I went to check and lo and behold it was there with the delivery ETA too.

I just had an update, ETA 15/FEB - 01/MAR and VIN appeared. UK (scotland) delivery FWIW. Not sure if that helps predictions at this stage, could just be a released loch fyne entry, or an early march inbound shipment? seems unlikely unless the ETA slides slightly
