I second this. I installed camber shims at 500 miles and my original tires are still perfect at 10k miles with plenty of tread left.

Lol yep. It’s largely experimental to see if I can avoid the vibration. I will eventually have some fun with it. TBH the biggest reason I went plaid is I like the carbon fiber trim better than the wood, plus the red calipers, and the inventory car was 10k off.

It’s baffling that apparently “good ones” do exist, right? So that would lead you to believe the issue stems from a manufacturing variance but of which parts? Nobody seems to know. If the whole thing is a sonic resonance as some are suggesting, it could be a combination of so many build variances.

Ok then I’m guessing this is not a case of simply just updating to the latest available firmware after delivery? Is this a case where if it was shipped with a certain firmware it works but later versions disabled access to it on purpose?

Is anyone able to answer this question? If I transfer my FSD, which currently has access to the beta, will I automatically have access to the 4.0 beta or does it just revert to non-access? I see there are a select few people who have FSD beta on hardware 4 but not sure how they got it.

I have been using FLAC 24/96 up to 24/192 in my Tesla, however it is important to note that just because the car can decode those files, it does not mean the DAC is preserving the sample rates. Yea not everyone will get lucky but if you skim back in the thread the last 2 weeks it’s been an overwhelming majority of west coast VIN’s regardless of order date. I’m still holding out hope they will send a few truckloads east before April.

Was at a conference in Anaheim this week. It was killing me watching so many Teslas drive by while waiting for mine. OD 2/4 delivery in NY with full FSD. So far the FSD hasn’t been an advantage. Current EDD 4/28-5-31

There is a portion of the trunk gasket that is missing on purpose to allow for the powered lift gate now. Not sure if your issue is that but I did read about this recently.

In case anyone is curious I just called Cherry Hill, PA about their demo vehicle with 50 miles. It’s a January VIN and does not have ryzen or heated wipers, so it’s unlikely that any of the other demo vehicles for sale do either.

With demand the way it is, they aren’t likely to fix this stuff before it leaves the factory any time soon. If it’s fixable at a service center, they could easily tighten QA but that would slow down delivery and we’d all be on here doing this anyway.

I also added FSD for that very reason and I have the same OD as you, but likely because i am in NY my EDD was pushed back. Still hoping for end of month if they want that extra 12k from me.

While I have nothing better to do but speculate while waiting like everyone here, I suspect the delivery algorithm likely has something to do with maximizing cost efficiency so maybe in areas where shipping cost is greater they are extending wait times when they don’t have an ideal delivery...

Been watching this thread the past week and almost everyone getting VINs right now are California or west coast while lots of east coast orders with same or earlier order dates have been delayed. I did however speak with an advisor in NY recently that said they are still expecting to ramp up end...

Same here. They initially prioritized me and then I got bumped. Waiting to see if it pulls back in.

I was delayed with white seats. I doubt it’s the wheels because almost everyone is choosing 18 inch in various colors. Paint color would be the thing to point towards but naturally no way to prove it.
