My Austin LR Model Y delivers Friday.

The only reason I can think of is Tesla is filling local Texas deliveries as production ramps up. In Austin, they could just drive them to the delivery center in they wanted, and Dallas or Houston is only a few hours away. Load them on a truck and 3 hours later they are there.

My Texas Model Y LR will be delivered next week. VIN 005550! I just ordered it in June after getting my Model 3 in May. So far, buy offers are about 10k over what I paid for the 3, making the Y an even swap!

Waxed mine yesterday as well! Griot’s Garage “Best in Show”! Also installed the Tesla accessory sunshades.

Mine is VIN 247XXX and it doesn’t have a liner either, and I don’t recall ever having a car with a trunk deck liner.

Tesla beat Caravana and Givemethevin.com for me. Carmax was higher, but that washed out with the tax credits from trading and so I came out ahead without the hassle.

Car is home! Been getting everything setup! Delivery was great. There was one problem with a loose taillight, and they took it in and fixed it in 5 minutes. It was a loose screw. Drove straight and true coming home! Did get my first rock chip on the fender already, but after all it is N. Texas...

New EDD this morning as well. From May 8th-June 6th to May 23rd-June 20th. I'm guessing they've run out of parts (like the mobile charger) with the shutdown in China. Hopefully Tesla won't start deleting more features from the car.

This is just as bad as franchise car dealers and the other manufacturers. Tesla is no better and there are other things I can do with my cash.

First post! Ordered our 2022 M3LR on 2/18. MSM with 18in Wheels! EDD is showing between 5/13 and 6/15. Thinking of the supply chain problems going on, I’m looking at buying my wall mount charger now. Any thoughts? Cheers, Jim
