So, this is it. My pick up is tomorrow at 3pm. When I bought the car in February, I was absolutely thrilled. I was given the EDD of 14-20 weeks and I could not stop watching YouTube videos, reading articles about the car, trying to find anything about how the delivery & pick up process works...

Made the payment 15th Aug at around 8:30pm.

I also made a payment from CBA to Tesla. Hasn't come up in my account yet. Pick up 18th August

I have asked my SA and he said it was fine, but I should still be aiming to clear my account 2 days before delivery. I can't afford to delay my delivery date by a day because I am heading to Gold Coast on Friday.

So I am picking up the car on Thursday and I got the delivery SMS today, which leaves me 3 days to make all the payments. Is it okay if I clear the funds 1 day before delivery or does it HAVE to be 48 hours before delivery? And what happens if i clear my account 1 day before my delivery?

Just got the Delivery SMS! Picking her up on 18th Aug 3pm. So so excited!

Update. EDD has changed from Aug 13 - Aug 26 to: Aug 14 - Aug 26. Tesla playing with my feelings...

Thanks for the information. Yeah my car has already been updated on the RAV since 11/08/22. I am expecting a delivery message tomorrow and hopefully they give me dates after 22 Aug because that's when I come back from Gold Coast.

Oh okay damn. Can anyone confirm how many days before you get the delivery message? I need to prepare myself before I leave for Gold Coast.

Just an update. My EDD was Aug 26 to Sep 3 and now it's changed to: Aug 13 - Aug 26. I have a question because I am going Gold Coast for the weekend this upcoming week, do they provide weekend deliveries or is it only on weekdays?

I am pretty sure my car is on the Morning Crystal, which was due to be arriving at PK by 12/08. I just checked its location and it's already heading towards Melbourne?

Guys. I had a question for the people booking their delivery dates. Can you only book a delivery date once you are in the EDD period or can you book before you enter the EDD period?

@rtvanda we've reached 24th Jan in orders!! Only 16 order days off! Should be very very soon. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully we see more February orders getting VINs from the east. I can see all eastern states get up to mid January so far. Hoping for the best.

So did we see a few VIN allocations today?!

Yes, I was told exactly this and hence why I completed all my steps within the week of ordering. My SA actually told me that my order does not progress further until you finish the steps.

12:30PM is nearing! The past two days we did see a lot of VIN allocations before 12:30pm, however, today has been silent. Let's see if Tesla makes some noise today or not.

But even then we have only seen 1 performance VIN allocation and that order was made in Q4 2021

I just saw this on the Tesla Owners Australia FaceBook Group. How is this possible? They ordered a M3P (uber turbine rims) on 16/2 and already have a delivery timeframe? Why does the text look edited?

As a 9/2/22 I am also hoping for a VIN allocation soon!
