I went with Admiral, which is the same exact price for the RWD or the LR. I guess they don't have data to use so they're going with LR prices. As others have said it's less powerful and cheaper, but rear-wheel drive is more dangerous than 4-wheel drive.

Driving style makes a huge difference, much like with ICE cars and MPG, but even more so IMO. I have a Kona currently and it seems most people get about 230 miles out of a full charge, I never ever ever ever get less than 280 and that's if I'm doing 60-70 constantly. I do drive it on eco nearly...

I got an Admiral policy a few days back when RWD wasn't showing, I chose N/A and just called them to switch to RWD. Price remained the same. About £1k for 15k miles, 5+ years driving, under 30, 5+ NCB, fully loaded insurance.

What happened? I have a Y RWD collection booked for 22nd Nov.

Seems to be hundreds if not thousands of cars coming over with no owners, so likely everyone with an order will get matched up before the end of the year with spare sitting in dealerships.

Had exactly the same, even the "tech team" went and investigated and then emailed me a few days later and said it didn't exist.

Just ring up Tesla and explain the situation to them.

Delivery booked 22nd November. Model Y RWD, midnight, white int, geminis.

Had the same message, due into the UK on the 16th of November, so hopefully collection after that.

Hi guys, I was wondering what you would recommend to do in regards to insurance as no comparison sites I’ve found actually list the RWD spec, I imagine it’d start appearing but maybe not for collection in November. Any recommendations?

If Glovis Summit is estimated in at Southampton on the 16th November, how long does it take for the cars to get delivered to the Trafford Centre usually? And then when can customers expect collection?

Is there a way to check if your VIN is on a specific ship? I assume my model Y is in Glovis Summit currently. LRWYHCFS7PCXXXXXX

This isn't a Tesla or Model 3 "issue", it's just the car market. Prices were at a super artificial high with all the shortages. They're correcting now.

Ordered MY RWD grey paint white inside standard wheels on the 18th this month. VIN soft assigned. No comms about USS. EDD Nov 19 - Dec 3. Decoders say 2023 model and LFP battery.

Also - there is no mention of the VIN on the site or app, also no mention of a year. Ordered on the 18th.

I saw the VIN in the source, like how the browser extensions find it. I haven't had any emails about USS. I wonder if it depends on when you ordered, as they probably changed their order agreement stuff to not mention USS? Multiple VIN decoders say it's a 2023 LFP build.

Just checked and my MY RWD I ordered a few days ago already has a hidden VIN. Shanghai LFP apparently.

EDD updated today to nov 19 - dec 3 :p Not bad for an order made a few days ago haha.

Cancelled my M3 and switched to MY RWD, ordered yesterday and EDD showing as nov 26 to dec 12.

Ordered a black M3 RWD in July 22, ETA currently mid Nov to early Dec. Those dates have changed ~5 times already.
