Interesting...asked Octopus where my order was up to...their tracking site says Mar-May when they'd assured me originally I'd got there in time for Q1. Anyway, the chap said the tracking page shows a worst case in order to manage expectations and they still believe it will be q1. What's interesting is that he said Tesla are this week allocating cars, and that he'd update me by the end of the week. That sounds positive, right? Hard to know what to think with this stuff, it's all so opaque. Just want my car now, as we all do. We'll get there eventually!

A UK ship is expected to leave Shanghai within the next few days.

So Tesla assigning cars next week is possible, usually when a ship departs Shanghai, Tesla start assigning cars a few days after.

It’s very likely we may see a VIN storm this time next week

Could be a good sign for you and the boat(s) lining up!!! Hoping mine does the same! As I was an Oct date, and then yesterday Jan - Mar - we saw similar behaviour last quarter

You will get the VIN first which will allow you to get insurance without a reg number and then just update them when you get that (typically 1 to 2 weeks before collection).

I spotted at the time that MSM seemed to be a common factor in cars having EDD pushed back to Q1, but all of those orders have now reverted to Q4 dates, so presumably any issue has been resolved.

My order has an EDD of 25 Nov - 19 Dec I have included a screenshot below if anyone is interested. Clearly, it is a fundamental change to the specification that I am being asked to explicitly accept:

would insinuate a ship leaving imminently from Shanghai, which ties in nicely with RCC Amsterdam, fingers crossed for the next few days for VIN pings.

Wasn't sure where to post this - where can I look at getting a trade-in estimate on my current car as part of my order? Interested to see what Tesla offer at the moment. Found an option from the menu, but seems to ask for a VIN, which seems to be Tesla only?

I did exactly this. VIN number is all you need.

I don't see this in my account. Does it mean my MYLR is coming with USS. My EDD is Nov 17th - Dec 1st? I guess only way to find out is to take delivery then see if it comes with it or not (classic Tesla exp )
