I took delivery of my MYLR today (Dec 22) and was informed I get the $7500 discount. I had a cashier's check for the previous amount, so they will be refunding me the difference. It was a good day. ⚡

They already did this as of Aug 16 when it was signed. It immediately disqualified 70% of the EV models sold in the U.S. Those would've otherwise continued to qualify for the $7500 tax credit.

Wider tires, all else being equal, would be better on the sand for the same reason as the larger contact patch at lower air pressures is better.

How did you receive your VIN? I would think your SA would've texted you the VIN (in addition to it showing up in your app).

Seems like they'd rather cut the check than lose a December delivery. I'm planning to wait for the final price sheet (including referral credit adjustment) until shortly before delivery, and then pay in full when I pick up the car.

You'll get a text from your SA when your VIN is assigned. You can reply to that text with any questions you have.

I'm sure those would improve the ride slightly. But, I'd feel better about tire wear at the recommended pressure. Downsizing the wheel with a taller sidewall is something I'd wonder if that is a size that's selectable in Tesla's settings so it can correctly calculate range and efficiency.

I think that's only been confirmed in China so far.

The switchover date for MYLR was Oct 7. Oct 17 was when Elon made the tweet about it.

I've heard some here with VINs as early as 570 think they have the comfort suspension. I also suspect that all 2023 MYLRs are getting it. My VIN is 564 and it's 2022, so I don't know if mine will have the new suspension.🤞
