Model Y has anyone received 2023 VIN yet?

There have been rumors it is coming. Haven't seen any confirmation.

Well, I'm taking delivery in the morning, and was sent the .pdf user manual... or had it in my account, anyway. There's a whole lot of stuff wrong in that manual if the stalks are going away.

I don't think that a change like that would happen without some more official advance notice.

MYLR Red/White, OD 9/21, Rec'd VIN on 10/20. NF564XXX. Is it usual to receive a VIN for a 2022 as late as 10/20? And no delivery notice yet (21 days)? Is it likely to have the comfort suspension?

Likely that yours won't have the comfort suspension if it's a 2022 VIN. Even some with 2023 VIN thinks that theirs doesn't come with the comfort suspension.

Have you tried contacting your SA to see what's up? I think you can reject a VIN once before getting cancelled.

I put mine on a 7 day hold, its a 23 vin or bust for me.

Excited. Had an EDD of Nov 21-30 with no VIN yet assigned. Had chat rep unlock my build so I could add a hitch and received a PA0279. With EDD of Nov 27 to Dec 6. Clearly coming from Austin and with a 027 I assume not yet built?!
Learnings from today - if you are on the east coast and want your Y sooner, consider adding a hitch.

They’re ordering the hood so I the car back for now. When hood comes in I will come in to swap or they may come to our home. Not sure. Took back to window tint and PPF guy and they will do all but hood for now then will do PPF on new hood once installed. I’ll post pics of the paint issue when I get car back.

Just got back from window tint and PPF and as promised I’ve attached pictures of the hood paint defect. Hard to see in pictures, but you can see the ripples in the paint in the garage lighting. Very obvious in the daylight. If this is the only issue and they correct it, which I’m sure they will, I will be totally happy with the car. I have had two new Ford F1 50s in the past and both had much more serious issues that had to be fixed. It is not that uncommon with any auto manufacturer to require some fixes from the factory.

Yes, Austin. my guess is you'll get your cargo shelf. Mine had it PA0272xx. I would also imagine you'll have no USS, as mine did not have it, but you'll have to wait and see. You might not have gotten a waiver if when you ordered it didn't list the USS as a feature any more. I can't remember when changed that information on the order page.

Was night and raining at delivery so couldn’t really inspect paint. Very minor gaps/panel misalignments here and there but overall good. Will do full walk around at home today. But other than that, amazing smooth car and the 3 hour drive home on AP in the rain was perfect.

Thanks! I did that yesterday, and the hold is until 11/25, so I hope this improves my chances of getting the comfort suspension.

I have just two for back as well but nothing for front so I was wondering same thing.
