Thanks for the info Resist. I’ve had over 30 cars in my lifetime and have modded almost all of them. I have never thought of doing this nor known anyone that got insurance on a mod. This must be a Tesla thing. To each their own
Sorry if this was asked before but how does your insurance company even know? One of my other cars is a procharged Vette and in no way has my insurance gone up. Are people openly telling their insurance companies they have performance mods?
My white seats seem a bit dingy. Today I stumbled on using dawn dishsoap in a spray bottle. Cleaned up very well and finished it off with a conditioner.
They’re jokes bud, don’t be so serious. Not trying to troll just having fun. M3P is super fast and there is obviously not much you can do but cut weight. Not sure what 20yrs of fast cars has to do with anything. I got 35, who cares… just have fun
Do company research before jumping in. I've seen a lot of garbage jobs which have cost people a ton of money. As for color, if this is your daily id recommend not going too bold. My Vette is wrapped baby blue and it gets uncomfortable sometimes with the attention the color brings.
If anyone is...
I cant lie and say I wasnt worried but after owning for a bit I dont have anything negative to say. It cleans up pretty easily and if you maintain it weekly I dont see it being a long term problem. Most people find it a bit "showy or flashy" and that's understandable. I find it really funny how...
S2K was the most fun car ive ever owned even though it lacked so much power. The ability to throw it around and the ridiculously high redline just made it a blast. It makes me sad to see so many S2K owners babying them and not driving them how they were meant to be.
I used to Toro my QX80 but it was paid off. It’s an easy money maker but I stopped as it wasn’t worth the stress. If you’re not concerned then just do the math and see what others are making. You’re the only one that will know if the money is worth it. Good luck
Oh man… sorry brother! Wrap jobs can be tough. My Vette is wrapped and I had to shop around several places until I found someone I could trust. If anyone wants work done in Nashville I have someone I can recommend
Thanks bud… ordered a set made by Kingna fit. It included lip, eyebrows, side skirts and spoiler. It’s not real carbon like many other brands out there but looks good to me. I have real carbon bits on my corvette and bmw and these look just as good.
It looks fairly similar to miss demeanor’s...
haha.... def no plans to move the Vette. I personally did not know how enjoyable daily driving would be. I was previously daily driving my 750 or Gladiator. The M3P is just such a nice mixture of functionality and performance.
Personally im not a fan of color matching. Ive unfortunately done this with another vehicle and I felt the color was always a bit off. If you are going to do it make sure its done by a professional. I think your car looks good. Ill be sharing some pics of mine later, but i went carbon.
Hey all, still new to the Tesla world and was wondering how often are you finding yourself doing a soft boot? I've leveraged it twice within 2 weeks for a voice command issue and bluetooth sync. Thanks in advance
My wife enjoys the stealth of the M3P. She does not like me hammering on the accelerator while she's drinking or doing makeup though. Too much fun.... HAHAH
I recently went through this conundrum. I ended up ordering am M3 LR to then cancel after I got some time driving the M3P. The big thing for me was I knew I would end up trading the LR in a few months if I purchased it over the P.
