Model 3 Performance Wrap

So I f****d up my current ppf in 3 areas and it’ll cost me about half the price of a wrap to replace those panels and so I’m thinking of just getting my M3P wrapped…but I am conflicted between colors and ideas. I really want something unique since I love a car that stands out and go to car shows a lot but still want it to be classy and elegant. Attached some options but have also thought about a matte red, matte black but my issue with those are it will just seem like a stock color with stealth ppf. Maybe a Nardo gray with some neon calipers? Heeeelp! 😭

I would not characterize any of those shimmery, color change colors as "classy and elegant". They ARE unique, but not "elegant". I happen to think nardo grey is an awesome color, but so do lots of people. Its pretty popular.. popular enough to be a part of the BMW individual colors.

Its a color I have seen on a few Model 3s as well.

Well said and you made some fair points, thank you! I’ve seen Nardo gray often as well which is why I’m not all in just yet but I also don’t know what else I could do 😭

Full disclosure here, I am so partial to nardo grey that I have been considering it myself for years. Its my plan to wrap my car nardo grey when I get tired of the color it is now (blue).

The nardo grey mmodel 3s I have seen looked awesome.... but I HAVE seen more than a couple, lol.

😭 I am tempted to go for it and change the caliper color to a neon but I also love my red ones. There are so many color options but so few at the same time lol

Where are you located?

Here’s some photos of Inozetek Supergloss Nardo Grey on a Model 3 we just finished a last week.

The quality of any vinyl wrap installation and maintenance is what will determine how long it’ll last. Here we do full tear downs which includes removing all of the glass on the doors just to remove the door handles.

Do company research before jumping in. I've seen a lot of garbage jobs which have cost people a ton of money. As for color, if this is your daily id recommend not going too bold. My Vette is wrapped baby blue and it gets uncomfortable sometimes with the attention the color brings.

If anyone is looking for a Wrap company in Nashville area, hit me up.

Seen a M3 in the area wrapped in what looks like Porsche’s Miami Blue and think that looks pretty nice on it.

Just like a paint job you get what you pay for when it comes to wraps.

Edit: Also I wouldn’t do any matte finishes as they degrade extremely fast. I‘ve been driving past this bmw wagon in matte black and it looks horrible now. All faded. Same for a satin green wrapped Model 3 that went from looking cool to complete garbage in under a year.
