I’m fairly certain the additional driver attentiveness changes in the NHTSA recall update aren’t really focused on FSD and are largely for standard Autopilot use.

The app is showing a $0.12 increase in price for the peak rate. Yikes. Previous rates were: $0.23 / $0.36 / $0.29 / $0.20 New rates are: $0.33 / $0.48 / $0.36 / $0.21

Yeah, like I said it showed half the stalls were open shortly before this too. Must be close to coming online or someone flagged something wrong :D

Drove by and confirmed it’s still fenced off though still showing a wait.

Not sure if I happened to checked at a moment of testing or what, but the app just showed 4/8 stalls online and now shows offline with a ~5 minute wait.

Got a response from Tesla. I asked if the issue was the CANBUS and if there were plans for a 2017/2018 retrofit in the future.

October 2018 build, Long Range Dual Motor. It has to be related to the different CANBUS connector used in the early Model 3s. I sent a reply with some questions, will update if I hear back (lol)

Yeah they changed it. It also no longer shows as an available option in the Store via the app for me.

Was Monday, they rescheduled to Thursday this morning. When I asked what happened they said the parts weren’t going to be at the service center until the day of my appointment so it auto rescheduled. No mention of a need for a different kit (yet).

Well. I‘ll double check when I get back to the car but I think mine is an October 2018 build. I’ll also post if they tell me the same thing.

What manufacture date are your cars? Mine is also a 2018 but they haven’t told me about the need for a revised retrofit kit yet.

The problem is that Tesla is advertising a very clean and OEM look on the product page when the actual installed product is not that clean and OEM.

You probably have HW4. I believe only FSD beta 11.4.4 supports the S/X on HW4.

Looks like cars are being offered 2023.12.11 from both the FSD beta 2023.12.10 release and the non-FSD beta releases (2023.12.5 / 2023.12.9). Wonder if they’re starting to work towards unifying the branches?

Subscribed to FSD at 7:39 am local, updated to 2023.12.9 at 9am local, just flagged for the 2023.12.10 update and headed home to download and install.
