Why do you think they shut the line down? It's normal that they first produce S/X for export in a quarter and then produce the domestic cars. That's why the next US cars produced will be towards end of Jan as before that, they produce them for the rest of the world to ship and deliver them...

Couldn't care less about the RGB Led lights inside. I'm interested in the under-the-hood changes to chassis, suspension and anything improving on quality leading to less warranty issues later.

Model S/X mini refresh is now about a month and a half behind schedule, so expected any time between yesterday and Q2 of next year. Not as major as the Palladium redesign, but small refreshes to match some Highland details are expected. Wish we could provide a better timeline!

It's not on the M3H in the showrooms in Europe. I had a detailed look, so don't expect it for now. Doesn't mean they don't intend to add it soonish or at some point down the line. Maybe they are waiting to do it across all models at some point around the same time.

You're right. I have been renting since we've ordered the car in early '21. Thought it would be for 6 months. Since we've ordered we had a child and will be having our second child soon and need the space. It's also a question of safety why I want to have that Tesla. 1st world "problem", I know.

There was a report that the Highland Model 3 supposedly has the adaptive headlight functionality but I didn't find a confirmation of that yet. It will come eventually, I'm sure as it's a safety feature which Tesla usually prioritizes

That's somewhat my problem. They assigned a new one to me about a week ago. When I checked I saw that it came over the pond back in April, so produced sometime in March... I need one in September/October and would like one with Matrix lights which were only produced starting in June/July...

So I have to be honest: I did not expect that at all! Luckily, I just postponed my order to September. Price in Switzerland went down by 10500, given the price change in the US and the EU, I'm surprised that they didn't lower it further.

Nobody knows that, no indication so far that there would be such a change I suggest thinking about why you would really need more. In most cases, someone doesn't drive such a distance (let alone should) without stopping for a break during which one can recharge the car as well.

They are, interesting! Matrix have a thinner upper part of the headlights as the lenses in the lower part take more space. On that note, has anyone seen a LR with matrix?

All imagery of MX on Tesla.com is now with matrix. Anyone outside of NA got a delivery date recently? They are not shown on the order page anymore. Wonder why that is

If he has access to the car, ask him to send pics. If he can't do that, ask him to describe them to you. The matrix have two very distinct big round lenses. The old ones have around 7 individual light elements (like squares). Another detail are the lines in the bottom front of the headlight...

They updated the manual a few weeks ago. Not the configuration yet, have also been checking often.

Which eight cameras are you referring to? Are you counting 3 or two in the windshield? (one is a dummy so it's technically 2)

Yep, that's what everyone is wondering about as well. Even the S got it more than a year ago.

They are 100% Matrix. You can see the two projector lenses. A subtle design difference of the lights is the number of lines on the bottom. Old have about 4, the matrix have about 12 I could see.
